Summary: Second time we’ve stayed at Wingrove House and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room we booked was a premium king and had a large bathroom. We ate both nights in the hotel’s restaurant as we enjoyed the food there on our previous visit. The food was as good as we had before.

Summary: Great hotel with warm welcome from staff. Very picturesque site, very comfortable night’s sleep after our day of walking. Would def recommend.

Summary: Our room (4) was at the front with the use of a verandah which was a bonus. The room was very clean and the bed and bedding were excellent. The only minor issues were the bathroom vanity unit was very tatty with warped wood and slightly peeling paint and the tiles behind the toilet were lifting with grubby grouting. A very good shower both power and temperature but possibly a new shower tray overdue. The bi fold doors to the bathroom did not work well! Several times one of us got stuck in the bathroom or couldn’t get the door open to get in and really noisy to use it during the night. Design needs a rethink. Lovely staff and excellent food. Lounge area very welcoming and comfortable.
