Positive: What a great little find for our hiking holiday. We rode up on our motorbike and stayed in the Windsor Cottage. We had an issue with the motorbike that David the owner helped us with. The cottage was clean, comfortable and peaceful. Tea, coffee, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, cleaning sponges, body wash was all supplied so didn't need to worry about purchasing this. A beautiful view to wake up to and sheep outside our door. Being on a ranch was also great as I am a horse lover. Would highly recommend this place if looking for a peaceful get away.

Positive: Beautiful location quiet and property was equipped with everything you would need for a few nights stay, it’s in a rural setting and we were lucky that the weather was warm and sunny and after a full day exploring it was nice to sit out on the picnic benches having a refreshing drink! The roads up to the property and surrounding areas are quite tight so caution is needed.

Negative: Bare minimum crockery and cutlery. Bathroom could do with a makeover looking at the joints in the wall panels and ceiling which are quite mouldy, the oven was dirty and the microwave slightly rusty! Couldn’t work out the dishwasher!? could do with some antibacterial cleaning wipes or kitchen cleaning spray in the under sink cupboard as currently nothing to wipe clean surfaces! The village of wasdale where the pub is was quite far away so a car would be needed and nothing by the way of amenities in walking distance so a car is essential.
