Summary: The staff were very nice. The property was very interesting and large and has pretty patio areas and indoor sitting spots. The outdoor areas/trails need more attention, even though there was a fairly clear mowed and wooded path. There was no food available later in the evening, which was a problem when arriving around 9 PM, although they were allowing delivery services. They should at least have snacks for purchase at the front desk. When we found someone else’s takeout container under the bed when we were leaving/checking the room, the front desk gave us a free treat coupon for the nice breakfast spot on the property. They are trying very hard to get this place restarted, and I would go there again.

Summary: This is a very nice facility with a terriffic staff. Meals and drinks were great. Just could use some maintenance and updating in the room. Clean the main foyer carpets as well.

Summary: Overall, the wife and I had a great experience. It would be nice if there was a cafeteria on the premises. The bartender was very helpful and the room was very nice.

Summary: Overall, my stay was pleasant, but there were a few areas that impacted my experience. If you're looking for standard hotel amenities such as an in-room coffee maker, microwave, mini refrigerator, or a larger television, this property may not meet those expectations. Unfortunately, I was initially assigned the wrong room one day one. It was actually someone elses reserved room and housekeeping entering my room early one morning. Although it was an honest mistake, it disrupted my sleep. Breakfast was another disappointment. I was only able to enjoy it on one morning because the dining area was reserved for private events during the remainder of my stay. On a positive note, the grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the staff was genuinely apologetic and courteous in addressing the issues I experienced. Would I stay here again? I'm undecided. While the setting and customer service were wonderful, the lack of amenities and the inconveniences during my stay would make me carefully consider my options before returning.

Summary: This is not a traditional hotel but rather a conference center with lots of rooms. I would have appreciated a coffee maker and refrigerator in the room. Our room was at the very end of one of the buildings so it was a VERY LONG WALK in the morning to get a cup of coffee in the one Keurig. Every morning there was a wait of about 4-5 people waiting to make coffee. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Maid service left the trash bag on the counter and forgot to throw it away out of the room - it didn't happen again. The soap was not replaced everyday. The property is beautiful and relaxing. The cafe has hardly anything in it and is NOT INCLUDED in the price, so beward of expensive coffee and muffins there. We did make smores over the fire one night and that was wonderful but the guy inside didn't have change for a $10, which was wierd. Beautiful property and well located.
