Summary: Close to beach. Close to boardwalk. Nice pool. Clean. Perfect place to stay.

Summary: This motel is reminiscent of the quaint older motels of the 50’s, 60’s era. Our room had a mini fridge, newer beds and bedding and was very comfortable. There was a large vanity and a closet bar with hangers also had shelf above. There was a newer dresser and floating night stand. Bathroom had tub shower combo and was older but clean. Room was carpeted which I don’t love but it was clean. The owner greeted me upon arrival and was very nice! They have actual keys for the rooms which were a little tricky. There was a nice pool, a restaurant that served breakfast and lunch and had happy hours from 4-7 with appetizers. Also, provided beach badges to get on the beach. Overall, a nice motel.

Summary: Typical outdated room, it was clean enough to stay one night. Room was next to the parking spaces so you heard the older couples with loud bikes that were staying next door come and go.

Summary: The housekeeper must’ve been distracted as one of the beds had pillows lying on top of the cases. This is a much older motel but it got us where we wanted to be for the night.

Summary: off season. very good price. close to beach. office is only open from 8am till 8pm. take your own coffee pot and ice.

Summary: Place is run down and DARK. Sign doesn’t even have lights. Musty smell throughout. No soap. No hand towels. No bath mat. We drove to Kohls to buy pillows because I didn’t believe other people’s reviews about the flat pillows (My bad). Air conditioner so loud that we had to put tv on 45 volume just to hear it. Expedia said there was “Only one room left” and led me to believe other people were actually CHOOSING this hotel. There were a handful of people there. Plenty of open rooms. (Unless 75% of the hotel is uninhabitable, which might be the case). Room had two queen beds so it slept 4 people. We had 3 people yet had to pay an “extra guest” fee of $40 (False advertising). Stayed here to save money but we should’ve cut back elsewhere.

Summary: It's been a decade since I have been to the Windjammer, but after my stay it feels like I never stopped going. It's been a tradition in my family to go once a year for a week during the summer when I was a kid from 3 years old to 23. Now I am 33, with kids of my own... And I'm so back! It's just like I remembered, the rooms have been updated a little, new countertops in the suites and a bigger fridge, new couch and new beds. All welcome changes. Some minor issues like a very small trace of mold above the shower head. But aside from that the room was clean, and comfortable for what it is! I loved my stay, the staff, the guests, everyone was a joy to be around and food at the windjammer is always a hit for me! I'll be back next year!
