Positive: This is a perfect place to stay if you want to access Holmfirth town, with only a short walk down the hill into the centre. Lovely and clean, comfy, and a little quirky, with a lovely host. Great to find a property with parking available. When we are able to come back for longer to do some local walking, we'd like to try the larger properties the hosts have that have a cooker, and larger fridge, to give us more options for meals . We really enjoyed our stay, and I've already shared the details with my friend for next time she visits Holmfirth. Thank you 😊

Negative: Not a criticism- but if you are staying longer than a couple of nights and would like to eat in sometimes, you might want to consider their larger properties as they have a bigger kitchen etc.

Summary: It's just as it appears on the photos, and a great base for visiting Holmfirth 😊

Positive: This is an excellent self contained apartment in a quiet location and only a short walk into Holmfirth. Kate and Steve are excellent hosts and recommended some great places to eat and drink. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook your own meals. Upon arrival Kate had left us some bread, butter, jam and milk which was much appreciated. The bed is very comfortable and bathroom, although small, has an excellent shower. Off road parking was an added bonus.

Negative: Nothing to dislike

Summary: A great place to stay with excellent hosts.

Positive: This is a lovely, cozy and comfortable little loft / cottage a short walk away from Holmfirth town centre. The host was welcoming and friendly, offered us lots of info and recommendations of bars and restaurants in the area. Will absolutely stay again.

Positive: Lovely self contained accommodation with every need catered for everything was of the highest quality. The hosts were fantastic and nothing was an issue. Outside space was nice touch, especially the chickens . Parking onsite is also a plus point. Location was great for exploring the Peak District, Holmfirth it's self is a lovely village with loads of places to eat and drink and shops to explore. Easy travel distance to Bakewell, Buxton and Eyam.

Negative: Nothing at all

Positive: Friendly host, very helpful and easy going. Kate gave us some info about town and recommended some places for brunch, which were really great. Complimentary bread, butter, milk and marmalade was a nice touch. Very cool and unique place to stay.

Negative: The carpet - very hard wearing but hurt our bare feet!
