Positive: We selected Willow based on the pictures and reviews that promised a quintessential Vermont Inn - and it absolutely lived up to our expectations. The owners were out of town, but their friends who were holding down the fort did an amazing job! They provided excellent recommendations on a nearby hike and great places to eat (even for the next stop on our journey). If you're in the area, make sure to check out the "Fat Crow" in Newfane - great pizza and the best clam chowder on our whole New England trip! The building and its surroundings are charming and quiet. Local art is on display throughout the rooms. The bed and mattress were relatively new and VERY comfortable (I slept better than at home). The breakfast was AMAZING! And being able to pet the cats was making it easier for my wife to be away from her own. We really enjoyed our stay!

Negative: The location is *very remote. Of course this could be just what people are looking for - especially for a relaxing retreat.
