Positive: When we arrived the wrong key was in the key safe but they quickly resolved this. The staff were really helpful. The hot tub and shower were fantastic.

Negative: The heating in the cabin didn't seem to work even after the owner came to look at it but it got warmer so wasn't too big a deal. The bed wasn't the most comfortable. It would be helpful if we were told in advance that we just had to open the hot tub ourselves as it looked closed. One website for this site described the pool as heated and it is very much not. Many of the glasses in the facility had caked on dirt we could not remove which wasn't ideal.

Positive: A very cosy little cottage with a kitchen (oven, cooktop, microwave, sink etc) and basic laundry facilities (Note: Washing machine only, no dryer, just a clothes rack). Nestled in amongst the trees of the stunning park-like grounds at Sutton House on the outskirts of Dartford, this cottage is quiet and relatively private. Free fast WiFi and smart TV with various streaming services available. Swimming Pool and a nice relaxing (and sheltered) Hot Tub onsite and available for guest use. Far enough out in the countryside to be quiet and relaxing, but close enough to supermarkets, service stations, restaurants, shopping centres and motorways to make getting supplies easy and to make getting to/from the cottage really simple. Easy key pickup and clear directions provided to make "check in" a breeze. The Hosts were friendly, helpful and understanding when I called for assistance because I hadn't read the instructions properly. Plentiful and easy parking facilities.

Negative: About the only (very minor) criticism I could have would be that the sensor light in the bathroom probably needed a slightly longer cutoff time (there was no manual switch), as it could not sense you if you were in the shower and would turn off after only a minute or two and leave you showering in the dark!

Summary: A very cosy cottage, on park-like grounds. Perfect for a couple's country getaway. Recommended!
