Positive: The house felt very homely. It was very convenient for popping into Stockbridge to visit family. The owner was very helpful and always there if needed. Would definitely recommend and will be staying again.

Positive: Location was great. House had everything. Place was spotless. Landlord was contactable.

Negative: Pillows. My wife wasn’t keen but we sometimes bring our own(!) so wee clearly just picky.

Positive: Comfy beds, good quality sheets and duvet. Kitchen facilities excellent - even an air-fryer! Nice enclosed garden south facing. Very clean, probably new carpets. Location great, 100 meters from High Street, all pubs are dog friendly. Fridge, freezer and washing machine was a bonus.

Negative: Nothing we can think of....

Summary: perfect location, cottage and up to date facilities. Dog friendly and Stockbridge is adorable.

Positive: Location was great, kitchen equipment was good too. Good shower. Large towels. Basket of ramdom toiletries was a good idea and plenty of things left over in cupboards could be helpful too.

Negative: Entrance down a back unlit path in the dark was not good. Would not want to travel there alone. One mattress was super hard. Furniture was not placed well, lots of clutter and too much stuff in the house generally.. It all needs a good sort out and some love. Garden was a mess. Sitting room curtains and pole not set up properly or fixed in place. In the kitchen, you are advised you can only use limited settings on the washing machine as it shakes the cottage!!! I would not have booked if I had known as I needed to wash things as been travelling a while. Was moot anyway as washing machine door would not lock so could not use it regardless.
