Positive: Great location in a quaint little village, the property was nice with pretty much everything we would need. We loved the log burner but that was something we made sure it had before booking.

Negative: Parking is not great and spaces could easily not be available which would lead to a long walk from the next place you could park. The high chair was quite dirty and stained though so we had to thoroughly clean it ourselves before we could use it.

Summary: Would definitely consider returning in the future.

Positive: The location was perfect for a countryside break. Other Cotswolds villages were nearby. The amount of space and facilities in the cottage were good.

Negative: Unfortunately the cottage was a bit dated in parts. Bumped my head a few times using the toilet in the ensuite bathroom. The floorboards were very creaky on the three sets of stairs. The garden was not usable for anyone with walking difficulty and the garden furniture was not very inviting as it had seen better days. Only one TV channel was available BBC 1

Summary: Would prefer staying in a more modern cottage/house next time.

Negative: We had no water the first night , very inconvenient, spoilt our first night , the picture of the table outside did not represent the dilapidated table that was there with only three chairs when there were four of us ! It was advertised with a BBQ but it was rusty and unable to use . There is a Asian hornets nest outside the bedroom upstairs that needs sorting out as unable to open windows , disappointed that we could not use the table , lights in kitchen flicker and it gave two of us migraines , did not like the stuffed birds as I do not believe in doing that , carpet was frayed going into living room , looked scruffy

Positive: A beautiful place in a small village. The interior is decorated in an old fashioned style, with great class and taste. All necessary amenities were available. There is also a small but charming garden to use. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful.

Negative: To find the cottage, you need to follow the instructions provided, not the navigation system. However, the instructions for key collection weren't that clear and obvious, and we had trouble checking in. Also there were too many similar messages from the property manager before our arrival. The nearest larger town, shops, and restaurants are a bit far away – this didn't bother us, but it's worth remembering if that's what you're looking for.

Positive: The village of Hampnett is idyllic. The cottage was sweet and perfect for a two day stay. Easy to find and access easy too. The house is being renovated next door and the builder was so lovely and accomodating.

Negative: I loved everything about the cottage except the kitchen could do with an upgrade of pots pans utensils.

Summary: Hampnett is a beautiful village and the cottage is so unique .

Positive: Staying at Willow Cottage for seven nights was a highlight of our 3-week trip to the Cotswolds and the Channel Islands. We had a rental car (which would be needed for a stay at the cottage) so it was easy to take day trips to Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Broadway, Chipping Campfen,, Bourton-on-the-Water and Blenheim Palace. I rented the car at Birmingham Airport, then picked up my friend at the Moretton-in-Marsh train station. There’s a nice Co-op grocery there. North Leach is near the cottage with a few shops and Post Office. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer and a dishwasher. We watched movies at night. The cottage is easily accessible from two major highways. Hampnert is not necessarily the on the map so follow their excellent directions for getting there. We would definitely stay here again.

Positive: This was a really lovely cottage with lots of attention to detail. It really felt like a home and the decor was lovely. The location, although a bit remote, was part of the charm as a quiet country getaway.

Negative: The cottage was a wee bit hard to find and the house number/address was not at all obvious, but other than that I just loved the place!

Negative: toilet didn’t flush properly. dishwasher wouldn’t start. the cottage itself wasn’t as clean as the picture make it out to be. dirty carpet and walls. i think this places over charges for the value. i would have stayed elsewhere if i could do my trip over again
