Willard Beach was formerly called Gurry Cove in the 1870’s and the beach was lined with small fishing shanties. The beach is now named for the Willard family who settled the cove and became successful fishermen. In the late 1800’s and early 1900’s the fishing shanties were slowly replaced by summer cottages.
We have beach chairs, beach towels, a beach table, umbrella, coolers, and a wagon to cart all your stuff down to the beach in!

Summary: Me, my husband, 2 teens and my in-laws all stayed here for a long weekend (my sister was getting married.) Great location! It was actually right on the side of an amazing bakery and across the street from an ice cream store. Place was clean and we had plenty of room. House had everything we needed as far as plenty of towels, fully stocked kitchen, even books, crayons, games, etc. Would stay here again!

Summary: This home was very well equipped for our 5 adult family. There was plenty of room for us all! We really enjoyed the neighborhood. Communication with Dianne was friendly and timely. It was our first time in Maine and we wished we lived closer so we could stay at this home again!
