NEW / IMPORTANT PREFACE: We want to say up front that we take very seriously our responsibility to do everything within our reach to keep everyone as safe and healthy as as we can, while you have a relaxing, health-building and fun time with us!. This includes the following:
First of all is our location: We only have 9 cabins / suites for rent which are spaced apart and in middle of 30 acres of fields and woods, so plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors without any human contact. Then, all cooking can be done in cabin and/or on grills we provide, so no need to go to any restaurants... Even all our "extra-fun" Animal Adventures and Horseback Riding activities have been modified so they are "private" - just for you, by reservation and conducted outdoors and at "safe-distance"...
Upon each checkout, we ask all guests to cooperate in the safe-stay" procedures, with 3 simple steps: (1) wash their dishes with disinfecting soap we provide, air-dry and put them back in cabinets with doors closed, (2) put linens in plastic bags we provide and, seal and put by the door so we can promptly remove and(3) take all garbage to dumpster . Then we come in with face masks and spray every single surface with organic disinfectant and let the cabin air out while it takes effect, then go in and clean with disinfectant soap, all laundry is separately bagged and separately washed & dried in high heat. After cabins have been all cleaned out, we re-set beds with fresh linens and towels, new trash bags, cleaned / disinfected ac filters and filled up new coffee condiments. A final disinfecting of floors and doors are locked so no one can come in till you get here.
Our location is also ideal: Only 5 minutes from main street Boerne & close to San Antonio, yet feels like you're a million miles away in this wonderful wooded ranch where great views of beautiful nature from your private deck or screened-in porch + great amenities like BBQ pits, smokers & grills, pick-nick areas, fire pits, horseback riding & the best darn cooking you ever had cooked fresh by 2 resident Chefs (meals and horseback riding optional add-ons) converge to create your own custom-crafted vacation.

Bedroom has "smart" HD TV and "smart" HD DVD player as well as big closet, the living room makes into a cozy queen-sized bedroom at night (just let us know what time you want your turn down - we come and make it for you :-) and twin beds for the kids to camp out in the little loft.
Full kitchen with complete cooking utensils including pots & pans, full sized stove and oven, big microwave, large refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, free coffee and all the basics for dinning: dishes, cups and mugs, glasses, wine glasses, silverware, etc. if it's not there, just ask and we will get it for you

Great for your San Antonio, New Braunfels, Fredericksburg, Comfort, and any other Hill Country vacation hub: 5 minutes away from Main Street Boerne (& I-10) where there are tons of fun things to do, 10 min. to FM 46 (road to to Bandera & New Braunfels), 20 minutes to San Antonio's Fiesta Texas & The RIM (I-10 and 1604) with many entertainment, shopping and fine dining options, 30 min. from Fredericksburg... To sum it up, even though we are 'in the woods', we're in a very convenient location for whatever you may feel like doing.

Summary: It was probably nice at one time, but is now somewhat run down. Our oven did not work, the hall lights and outside lights did not work, no laundry facilities or cleaning (broom) supplies. Location wasgrwat

Summary: Great property, friendly management and very helpful. Great location and we enjoyed going for the day to Fredericksburg and also saw lots of wildlife. The boys enjoyed the horse back riding offered by the owners of our rental property. All around great stay and close to town if you just want to get out or need supplies.

Summary: We truly enjoyed our stay here as we were escaping our home to let it get as many showings as possible with the sale. The country setting with the animals, quietness of the ranch and the friendliness of the owners were excellent! We had the unfortunate incident of picking up a nail in our truck tire while we were out in town. Mickey was amazing and helped us finish up the tire change as I have a heart condition that was giving me a bit of a fit with the heat and exertion of swapping things out. He is truly a great guy!! They checked in on me afterward and even brought us some local fruits and eggs from the farm for the next morning. While we didn't get to take advantage of the horseback riding or great cooking that was posted, we truly enjoyed our time here just the same and will be back in the future if our home doesn't sell quickly! Kudos to the owners for a beautiful spot!

Summary: If you want to unplug and get back to nature its a great option. If you want a girls weekend with facials and partying on the town, this isn't for you. Go back to Austin. We really enjoyed our stay and had everything thing we needed. I can echo the strange smell of the water, luckily it was only a few days so we wait until we got home. I found the property clean with all nessary paper products.This is truly the country and farm animals roam freely and yes, you might get dirty that's part of what mades this a great family getaway! The roaster really will wake you up but, you can get to attractions 1st thing in the morning.

Summary: We spent 3 days on the property and found it very enjoyable. The farmhouse has an interesting layout that may not be great for larger groups, but it accommodates our party of 3 just fine. We were delighted to see several baby goats were born the day that we arrived. We loved spending time around the horses and goats. The ranch itself is beautiful and contains an elevation for a very pretty view. Micky and Vicky were very hospitable and attentive. Vicky made a delicious chocolate cake for our daughters birthday. The property is still a work in progress and we look forward to seeing it again in the future.

Summary: We had a very nice time in this cabin, Tom and Sussie my kids just loved the loft and watching Netflix, they also liked petting the animals, mainly the baby goats and riding Bella the minature horse. As I was preparing to cook dinner I couldnt find a lighter however Walter and the Staff where always there to help me out. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your ranch. Karen

Summary: The cabin was very clean and cozy. We loved watching the animals (horses, goats, donkeys, deer, etc) walking through the ranch, we were able to set our tent outside our cabin and our children slept there, we all had a wonderful time. Looking forward to our next visit. We highly recommend this cabin and in general this amazing ranch. HL.

Summary: We had a great time at the little cabin. It's not fancy, but it has everything you need. Expectations should be set with the concept of "glamping" with all the amenities. The bed in the bedroom is lovely, comfortable, cozy. The A/C works great during hot Texas summer days. The water is hot for a nice shower (no bathtub, but we managed). Kitchen and dining room worked well for cooking simple meals. The upstairs loft has very low ceilings. Adults must crawl. But it worked well for our three kids 5 and under to bunk and play up there in their own space. The stairs are very narrow and steep. But we had no trouble. Micky and his staff were very nice. We paid extra to have the kids ride Bella the miniature horse, and they loved it! We also got to feed the goats. Boerne is a lovely little town. We had fun hiking, eating, hitting some breweries, etc. Overall, a really great trip for us. Thanks so much!
