Positive: An excellent hotel from which to explore the neighboring swampland and the birdlife there-in.

Negative: Not really a problem with the hotel but the boat captains don't really understand birds and birding. Having a dedicated skipper prepared to spend time observing the different species instead of just going round and round would be good.

Summary: Friendly and affordable hotel from which to bird the national parks.

Positive: Spotless clean room and beds. You would not expect such a nice place on the main road. We came for bird watching and it is absolutely worth for your money. The owner himself is also a bird watcher and an expert. The guide is very professional .

Positive: A very clean and comfortable stay. Sadly there was not a lot of things to do around us. But for those who like bird watching it would be ideal.

Negative: We were very disappointed with our meal. A lot of this was to do with the language. As we couldn't understand the menu.

Positive: I very much enjoyed my stay at the Wildbird Hotel. There were 3 choices for breakfast along with fruit, porridge, coffee and tea. The outdoor restaurant also serves excellent food for lunch and dinner. The staff are very kind and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to the Tram Chim National Park where you can arrange for a boat tour of the park. Beautiful photos of the many species of birds found within the park limits line the walls of the common areas of the hotel. The owner is an active volunteer with the park in helping to restore the Sarus crane population.

Summary: A calm and peaceful stay. I definitely would return.

Positive: Stay one night to visit Tram Chim. The boat picked up us from the hotel and the staff prepared for us to have breakfast on boat. Lovely place to watch sun set
