5 Bedroom House in White Sands Cottages, Pensacola Beach

New home, finished in May 2002. This spacious home has spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico on one side and beautiful views of the Little Sabine Bay and Sound on the other side. The living floor is on the third floor with high ceilings. On the Gulf side is a large deck with two sets of tables and chairs. On the bay side is a balcony with a gas grill.
There is a full kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, etc., and Corian counters and sink. There are three TVs in the home with a VCR and DVD in the living area. An intercom makes it easy to call everybody to dinner. We have everything you need!
On top of the house is a fourth-floor open deck that virtually the entire island can be viewed from.
The walkway to the Gulf is 50 feet from the property down our driveway, with no roadways to cross. Next to this walkway is one-fourth mile of dune preservation area, which gives you an undeveloped and unobstructed beach to enjoy. Across the street behind the house is Little Opal Beach, which gives you an unobstructed access to this quiet beach. You can even pull your boat up here.
Within walking distance, approximately one mile, is the center of Pensacola Beach with shopping, restaurants, and nightlife.
The large, master bedroom has a king-size bed with a large bathroom with a whirlpool bath and two sinks. The remaining three bedrooms have large, queen-size beds. There are two futons in the living area that make two more double-size beds. All bathrooms are tile floors and cultured marble vanities. There is even an outside shower to rinse off when coming from the beach!
You must be 25 years of age or older to rent the property. Families only, please.
Security deposit: A security deposit of $500 will be required. This payment will be refunded within 15 days of departure, providing there is no damage or missing items. If replacements of missing items and/or repairs to the property are required as a result of your stay, the security deposit will be applied to offset these costs. You will be responsible for the entire cost of the repairs, including lost rentals, even if the cost exceeds the security deposit.
Payment: To confirm the reservation, one half of the rent is due as a deposit at the time the reservation is made. The balance of rent, taxes and security deposit must be received two weeks before the date of arrival. If payment is made by check, the balance would be due three weeks prior to arrival. Payment may be made by cash, check on U.S. bank, VISA or Mastercard.

Summary: This place was perfect for us! The deck was the place my adult sons and I spent hours talking and connecting in the wee hours of the morning. The stars, the sound of the waves…it was exactly what we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and supplies; the entire place was clean. There was plenty of room for us and the closeness to the beach was the best!! We had one small insignificant issue and the owner responded quickly. (Turns out I should have changed the lightbulb 😝). We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We were surprised that the kitchen had not been cleaned properly. This was our 4th visit to this house, it has always been cleaned very well. We're wondering if it's a new cleaning crew. There was even an empty water bottle on the floor in the master bedroom. We cleaned the kitchen and had a fantastic time in this house.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay in this house. It was well stocked , plenty of room, very close to the beach, the beach was not crowded at all and Richard was a great host. Summary: This is our 2nd year in a row to rent this fabulous beach house. We had 8 adults and 2 kids in our party. This house had plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen is very well stocked. The kitchen has lots of extra small appliances such as a toaster, blender, air fryar, magic bullet, and two crock pots which made preparing meals super easy. The owner has extra beach chairs in the garage for patrons to use during their stay. It is only a 60 second walk from the house to the white sands of Pensacola Beach. Plus the beach is not very crowded even on a holiday week such as the 4th of July. This is my favorite beach house I have ever rented for my family. I highly recommend this property!

Summary: This VRBO is wonderful. Not directly on the beach, but it may be even better! Boardwalk was very close, no crossing busy streets and fighting crowds. The house was clean and well kept. Plenty of room for the 7 adults and 2 toddlers we had with us. Kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed for the week. 6 out of 7 nights we cooked dinner there. Beds were the most comfortable rental beds we ever slept in!. Thanks Robert, we had a great time and hope to be back in the future.

Summary: Honestly, the listing on VRBO doesn't do this place justice. This place was very comfortable for my wife and I, our three kids, and each kid brought a guest, everyone over the age of 16. Check in was easy, you don’t have to do anything, the owner sends you an email with the garage codes and you’re in! Three bed rooms on one floor, master has a huge bathroom with shower big enough for two and a jacuzzi tub. The other two bedrooms on that floor share a bathroom but each bedroom has its own toilet/sink and then they share a shower. The 4th bedroom is on the floor with the kitchen, dining room, and living room and has a full bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked, enough place sitting for probably 20 people at least. Plus all the kitchen stuff you’d need for whatever you might be cooking. There’s a balcony off the dining room where you can see the gulf. Plus there’s a top deck where you can see the gulf and the bay as well. The ground floor has the garage and outdoor shower perfect from coming home from the beach and rinsing off. The beach is probably a three minute walk and where this place is located the beach wasn’t busy at all. There are some beach toys/chairs/wave boards there, we left some wave boards and noodles for the next people as well. The only negative I would mention. The outside balcony is above the master bedroom and maybe needs a rug under the chairs/tables, the noise of moving chairs from our kids after we went to bed got loud several times.

Summary: My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. We go to the beach as a family every year but this was our first time at Pensacola Beach. This was one of the best houses we stayed in. Beach access is basically at the end of the driveway. You can see the beach from the balcony. We watched amazing sunsets from the roof top deck. The view from there was spectacular. The house itself has everything you need for a great vacation. We had 4 generations of us there including an 8 month old. The house was laid out so that we were not on top of each other the whole time. The owner was very responsive. The garbage disposal wasn’t working properly and he called back immediately and showed up the next day to look at it. We enjoyed it so much we are planning on returning to the same house.
