Positive: We loved so much our stay. From the beginning until the end, the staff helped and assisted us. They came at the harbour to pick us up, they organised the excursions for us, they made breakfast, which was very good. The room is well equipped, clean and the bed is very comfortable. The beach is at 2 min. The terrace is very agreeable. It really felt like home, it was our best stay in the Maldives ! Thanks

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at White Sands in the Maldives. The guest house is in a great location, just a short walk from the beautiful bikini beach, which made it perfect for relaxing days by the sea. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety and fresh options every morning. We also really appreciated the transfer service to and from the harbor, which made our arrival and departure smooth and stress-free. The kindness and hospitality of the staff were truly outstanding — they were always helpful, attentive, and ready to assist us with a smile. The only small note concerns the safe in the room. It was actually a drawer with a key, and unfortunately it was not working during our stay. For this reason, it might be better not to list it among the room amenities. Overall, we highly recommend White Sands for a pleasant and relaxing stay in the Maldives.

Positive: Amazing place to stay on Maamigili. Very close to the bikini beach/guest beach. Rooms are clean and bed is comfortable. The island is very calm and has a nice relaxing vibe. But the personal is of White Sand Inn is why you want to come here. Holy cow, they step it up when it comes to service. They really try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. First of all we got picked up from the ferry, nice! And from that point onwards they tried to facilitated in every manor possible. Amazing. Big shout out to Farid and the main man, Rakib. Thanks for making our stay a 5 star experience.

Positive: Absolutely everything but mainly the staff, they make sure that you spend the best time ever.

Negative: The only thing i can say is that the sink in the bathroom is really small and not really comfortable. But it’s a really minor thing.

Positive: Nice manager and Service give awesome experience and great breakfast. The room is clean and comfortable and the AC .shower is convenient. And well done. The activity we ordered has super surprised. Every time the landlord picks us up to go to the speedboat that’s very kind .Six days is so short for a nice invitation. So I think I will back in the future.

Positive: The accommodation was very clean and located just a few minutes from Bikini Beach. The surroundings were very calm. Rakib, the person who took care of us at the accommodation, and the owner were both very helpful and friendly. They helped arrange various interesting trips for us, as well as transfers to Maamigili and our next destination.

Negative: Mosquitoes - don't forget to bring mosquito repellent — although you can also buy it in local shops. Also, Bikini Beach could benefit from a bit of renewal.

Positive: Umar runs a wonderful guesthouse in White Sands Inn. The rooms are clean, the AC cold, the showers hot, and an easy 1 minute walk to the beach. Rakib, the caretaker, is very helpful, cooking breakfast at times convenient for you, helping organise trips, cleaning your room, and generally making you feel both safe and welcomed. Our family did the whale shark trip twice as we didn't get to see them on the first day, but did on the second day, along with dolphins too. We also went to picnic island and got to see several more grey reef sharks and a cow tail sting ray. Umar was also very helpful in setting up speed boat transfers to and from Male/Maamigili. He was available on whatsapp before and during our stay with very timely responses. Make sure you reseach Maamigili first as it is a local island, focused on other industries with a basic tourist infrasture. Personally, our family really liked it and enjoyed the slow pace. We got to talk with many of the locals over the 5 days. Overall, if you are looking for an affordable and convenient way to fulfill your dreams of swimming with the biggest fish in the ocean, you can do it here at White Sands Inn.
