Summary: My husbands only request for Father’s Day was to go away for the weekend. We decided to stay at White Gum cottage and were not disappointed. It was within driving distance of all the main attractions, the hosts provided fantastic provisions which meant we could enjoy the property and space without having to rush out in the morning to get breakfast. The hosts also provided lots of assistance of where to eat locally too and we weren’t disappointed. We would definitely come back with no hesitation.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the property - it is quiet and the location makes it easy to visit places around Healesville. Unfortunately the cellar door near the property was closed during the visit (but the owner/property manager provided alternative suggestions), so we'll have to stay again when it is open.

Summary: Very well appointed unit in duplex facing farmland and vines. A bottle of Stefani red and white among other items welcomed us. Both bedrooms with comfortable beds and lovely ensuites. Hidden European laundry. About 4km to Healesville. Highly recommend!

Summary: I can’t recommend this beautiful unit enough. It was our second time, first we stayed last New Year’s Eve for three nights and now four nights. Initially we booked as of the best reviews and we just love going to Healesville with our little kids. I can honestly say it is the best accommodation we ever booked in Melbourne, the cleanliness of the place will easily put to shame any of a 5 star hotels. Also it is so organised and has absolutely everything: extra blankets, pillows, softest bathrobes and even special tabs in bathrooms with all the hygiene necessities in case you left behind a deodorant, toothbrush etc. This stunning place has the most spectacular views of a winery and heals, so peaceful but at the same time kids keep themselves occupied running around, watching gooses and picking lemons from farm trees. We never had dinner out as you can’t possibly get better views than dining on the veranda. Let’s not forget the welcome divine wine, fresh sourdough bread and fresh milk. We miss this place already and will be returning on winter holidays. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

Summary: Extremely impressed with White Gum unit and the beautiful view from the deck. The unit was clean, well presented and comfortable. A generous welcome basket included wine, bread, coffee, etc. We enjoyed the Stefani nebbiolo so much we visited the cellar and purchased a replacement. Not far from Healesville and other tourist attractions. Perhaps a few more kitchen items: saucepans and some microwave bowls. We would definitely recommend and will stay again if we visit the Yarra Valley.
