Positive: The hotel was probably constructed in the 1950s or 1960s but Chris and Roxanna have done an amazing job updating the hotel. Our room had updated décor with modern amenities. It was really clean. Chris and Roxanna were so kind and very helpful. Great customer service!

Summary: We highly recommend the Wheels Motel. We will certainly be back!

Positive: Always stay at Wheels when in the area. Good location great couple run it. Always very helpful. Very clean and comfortable. Bonus is they have excellent guest laundry facilities with 4 washers and dryers.

Positive: The price was very good and the room was just fine for a motel. I thought the bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The area felt very safe and the staff were friendly. The location was decent. I wouldn't say it's a really nice walk downtown since you're on the edge of town and you don't pass anything nice (just gas stations, warehouses, parking lots, & motels) on the way, but it's a 2 minute drive or an ok walk.

Negative: This is probably Booking.com's fault, but there is no breakfast even though the page lists "Very Good Breakfast" under the "Most popular amenities" section. This was the biggest let down. We read all these comments about homemade banana bread. There isn't any. If you want breakfast, go to Bob's Diner and Bakery! In the room, the toilet handle stuck with every flush and the shower took 10-15 minutes to warm up. It did eventually get hot, but it sure took a while!

Summary: A decent motel, affordable and convenient if you don't intend to be walking everywhere you go

Positive: We had come for my mother's funeral so when my cousin came ahead of us to leave a surprise in our room, your kind & friendly desk person helped carry out her 'elfin' plans. What fun that was. He was also very friendly & down-to-earth, reminding me of the wonderful folks in my hometown of Burlington. It meant so much to us and we appreciated you very much. Everything was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Thank you kindly for a very positive experience. Next time we are back in the area, we'll surely think of you first.

Negative: Had just a little trouble figuring out how to keep the hot water going for a hot bath, but finally got it figured out.
