Summary: Stayed with a friend, visiting Gaping Gill. Good size twin room. Very comfortable and quiet. Slept very well, not disturbed at all. Breakfast standard buffet and cooked. Staff really friendly, professional and helpful. Lovely garden at the rear. Didn't eat at the hotel.

Summary: We stayed for one night, June 2025, I wish it had been longer! From start to finish, everything about our stay was lovely. Picturesque building in a beautiful setting. Plenty of room in the private car-park. The staff could not have been friendlier. We ate an evening meal in the pub and it was really lovely. Plenty of choice on the menu, reasonably priced and the food was excellent. Our room was spacious and looked as if it had been recently decorated. Comfortable bed, well-appointed bathroom, plenty of amenities. All you would expect from a really good hotel, let alone a country pub. Breakfast was lovely - well cooked, beautifully presented and ample quantities. I can't recommend The Wheatsheaf highly enough! Thank you!

Summary: Fabulous hotel made to feel welcome as soon as we entered the bar on a busy Sunday lunchtime! The landlord let us check in early the room overlooked the bar garden and nice rural views! Lovely really pub with a selection of real ales! Will be return in the near future! Ingelton is a pretty place. The breakfast is delicious good quality ingredients. Ideal for families.

Summary: Overall a good stay, free parking. Great staff, friendly, helpful and informative. Nice cosy warm large room with all facilities you would expect and a few extras (biscuits, water) Includes breakfast which made costs reasonable. Restaurant was excellent, food high quality, again reasonable price.
