Positive: The property was clean and warm, with heaters in every room over a very cold Christmas. The staff were unbelievable friendly and helpful and it’s great having a nice warm pool onsite. We had such a lovely stay and will be returning.

Positive: Separate chalet. Areas to exercise the dog by the chalet.

Negative: Poor water pressure in shower. Dirty and broken sofa. Inadequate hospitality tray. Overpriced shop and pointless indoor pool, missing a trick on having a clubhouse and takeaway/cafe onsite.

Positive: An excellent place to stay with family, easy access to St Michael’s Mount and local places to visit. Facilities in rooms were good. An access to swimming pool was excellent. The lodge does require some tlc regarding general upkeep - maybe proper shower screens rather than curtains, and general fixtures needing tlc would be good. Beds were super comfy and a great place for families and very quiet stay. However - considering the exceptional price we had a comfortable stay. Staff were friendly and a great little welcome touches like milk, tea, coffee and washing up liquid and tea towels and overall facilities like shop and laundrette on site is perfect. Thank you - hope to see you soon! :)

Negative: No shower screens - water could get on floor - but I asked for a mop - and the staff were accommodating and provided one. Some utensils and pans are on the cheap side - described as ‘student’ basic style - but I was able to use them without issue Shared parking bays - but we were off season.

Positive: Good location for Marazion, Penzance and St Ives and surrounding area for a short break. Ideal for an older couple with transport. Comfortable accommodation with friendly welcome on arrival with tea, milk and biscuits supplied. Good car parking spaces.

Negative: The 'double' bed was two large singles joined together making a large King Size bed. Unfortunately the mattresses had a metal rim so there was a hard bit running along the middle of the bed. We would suggest including a mattress topper. Only 2 of each crockery supplied. Would suggest supplying 4 of each to allow more flexibility so that some can be in the wash while others are being used. Sofa was a bit low so a bit difficult to get out of . We think springs had gone. A larger coffee table would also have been useful.
