Summary: What a lovely old building. Loads of character and good outdoor seating area too. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. I had to ask for soap dispensers to be filled. That should have been checked but they remedied it quickly. I would stay again.

Summary: Everything was great, a bit short staffed at breakfast so not much clearing up done and the radiators were on so it was boiling in the breakfast room. Bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, although the conditioner was empty so take your own just in case.

Summary: Whatley Hall is a beautiful hotel, our room had been recently refurbished and was excellent, large bedroom with a large sitting room. The shower was really good and in general was extremely clean, however there was a clump of hair that had kindly been left by a previous guest on the wall in the shower, we reported it to reception but nothing was done about it! Bit disappointed! Breakfast was good, everything that you needed all freshly cooked, would have liked a bit more fresh fruit. The staff were okay.

Summary: It was very hot when we stayed and had to keep the windows open. The street was noisy, the church bells rang every hour. The refuse truck woke us up early. The room door was dirty from dirty hands. Our tv did not work. Overall it is a very nice hotel that needs a few touch ups. The staff helped us with a fan but is was still very hot. Breakfast buffet was good.
