Spend some time at our beautiful beach house overlooking Natural Bridges State Park. Hear the surf and see the ocean through the trees from the living room and the expansive deck. Drift into sleep listening to the waves from your bedroom. Walk down the block to the beach, build a sand castle, and play in the waves. Stroll down West Cliff and watch the surf crash against the cliffs. The house is also a short walk to Swift Street Courtyard, home to Kelly’s French Bakery, the Cellar Door Café, Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing, and multiple wine tasting rooms, including Bonny Doone, Copious Winery, and Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard. This newly remodeled beach house comes complete with flat panel TV's in the living room and separate kids' zone, Cable, DVD, and wireless Internet.
The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a sleeping loft. The upstairs living room has ample seating for enjoying the view, cozying up to the wood stove, or watching the flat screen TV. The spacious master bedroom is also upstairs, and overlooks the park. Two bedrooms and the 2nd bath are downstairs. The front downstairs bedroom is bright and sunny, with a queen bed. The downstairs back bedroom is very large (25x12). It has a queen bed, and a sitting area with another flat screen TV and a futon couch which folds out to a full size bed. The room also has a loft with two twin beds. It’s a perfect spot for a kids’ hang-out.
The house was completely renovated during the spring of 2011. The kitchen and both baths were stripped to the studs and remodeled, with all new appliances. All doors, carpets, and floors were replaced. Everything has been newly painted in 2020. The furnishings are also new, and the kitchen is fully stocked with plates, pans, utensils and serving pieces. We have a gas grill on the deck, and seating for 8. We added a patio in the back yard in 2012 with a fire pit that's perfect for roasting marsh mellows. The house is also equipped with wireless.
We have lots of toys as well: several adult size cruiser bikes in the garage, 4+ boogie boards, and 6 beach chairs, all for your use. Rental also includes bath towels, sheets, and beach towels (8). The kids will love making s’mores in the fire pit in the back yard. The boardwalk and downtown Santa Cruz are three miles away, an easy bike ride along West Cliff. The house is a perfect location for exploring Santa Cruz, Capitola and Aptos. Other great day-trips include the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the shops of Carmel. Come, relax and enjoy!

Summary: The 7 of us from 12-82 had a great 2 days. We took advantage of the beach in walking distance, the toys, chairs and amazing deck and grill. The kitchen is the most well appointed and stocked of any vacation home we have ever stayed in. And each room had kleenex. This is how you can tell a host cares about their guests.Very comfortable for our group!

Summary: Fabulous location, fabulous property, and the best equipped kitchen I've found in a VRBO property. Unfortunately it rained durning our stay so we could not take advantage of the great deck and yard.

Summary: This house was perfect in every way. The kitchen was more than adequately stocked with everything we needed and had beautiful counters and very nice appliances. The entire home was clean and comfortable. My ten-year-old grandson loved having his own space in the loft where, in his words, he could “chill out.” The futon couch in one of the bedrooms turned into a bed which was perfect for the three-year-old, as his parents could sleep in the queen bed in the same room. The bedroom upstairs in the main living area was just far enough away that we, the grandparents, weren’t disturbed by the children when they woke up early. Nice touches were a wagon full of beach toys, games under the living room coffee table, and a lovely deck from which we could see the ocean and hear the waves. The location couldn’t have been better. We strolled along West Cliff Drive, walked to Natural Bridges State Park where we played on the beach and hiked some of the trails. Wilder Ranch was about five minutes away with additional trails. Restaurants and coffee houses were easily accessible. The host responded immediately to my questions and offered suggestions. He was wonderful! Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll be back.

Summary: This is our 2nd time staying in this house, and it's been wonderful each time. It's a very nice space for a group of 7 of us, and the proximity to Natural Bridges SP and West Cliff Drive make it perfect for getting down to the beach and long walks along the coast. We spent the evening out on the front deck listening to the owl calls from across the street in the state park. Would recommend this place to others.

Summary: We want to book again for next year! The location of this house is perfect. And the house had everything we needed. The loft was a little bit scary for my wild 2 year old grandson. But next year he will be better. We all had a perfect weekend !

Summary: This house has it all. Natural Bridges beach across the street, bicycles and beach stuff in the garage, fire pit in the back yard, deck, grill, beautiful sunsets. A perfect base camp for all-day excursions. Also a perfect place if you just want to hang around the house. The host is very responsive and takes good care of the place. Could not ask for more.

Summary: Bruce was an amazing host we called him a few times with questions and he was super helpful and quick to respond. The house was beautiful and as advertised. Unrelated to the quality of our host, our toddler had a an accident and ended up needing to go to the emergency room by ambulance and the quality of nurses and doctors at Dominican Hospital was amazing they were super attentive and helpful. It’s comforting to know there is good medical care in the area. Highly recommend this rental, it’s in the perfect area and excellent quality.
