Positive: Had a fantastic 2 days at the cottage, it was very clean and comfortable,even down to the small touches like the welcome pack to get you started were good. Pint of milk in the fridge,teabags , coffee ,sugar and pods for the coffee machine, even 2 tins iron brew and 2 packets of crisps. Little extras like cling film and tin foil in the cupboard salt /pepper and even a box of green tea. The bed was so comfy, and the bathroom was lovely ,the shower was really good ,great water pressure , there were plenty of sockets in the cottage, it was our first time using a wood burner hot tub. Took just over an hour to heat up ,there was plenty of wood to top it up to keep the fire going and also to use if your using the Chimera. We took our 2 dachshunds with us. They seemed to have a ball. Had the sun in the garden all day and there was plenty room for when they had their zoomies. In the garden and also in the cottage. Will definitely be back .xx
Negative: Just being picky as there wasn't anything to dislike about the cottage, when you're used to a super king size bed to go to a double bed , but we did have a brilliant sleep as it was so comfy and hubby didn't fall out the bed .

Positive: Everything was of a high standard. Lots of nice touches such as Irn Bru, shortbread biscuits and milk supplied. We loved the location just 10 mins into St Andrews. Great for our dog the property was a secure space with a fence.
Negative: Very very little but perhaps a couple of cushions for the outside seats.
Summary: Absolutely brilliant stay and we will definitely return.

Positive: We've just spent 6 wonderful nights here and would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. With St Andrews only about 10 mins away and possibly the best beach in fife you won't be disappointed. Our hosts were amazing and did everything possible to make our stay amazing. There is a wood mill near the cottage but honestly it never spoilt our peace. The hot tub was awesome and spent 1 night in it while it was pouring down with rain ( the tub is sheltered). A great place for dogs, our Rottweiler had a great time and we had to push her into the car to take her home. All in all we had a great time, we will be back.

Positive: The cottege was spotless . There was a cozy feel to the place and there was everything you needed for the stay. The gas ran out on the first night, which was minor to us. Phoned the number provided and the gas bottles were changed within 15 minutes of the call. Excellent service, couldn't have asked any better. For two adults, the size of the cottege was ample. The location, for us was great, quiet location but not miles away from St. Andrews, about a 10 minute drive. I thought, as the cottege is located on a timber yard, there would be lots of noise, I was wrong, even when guys were working, it was still quiet, wouldn't know they were there. Was just a great place to relax and get away for a weekend.
Negative: Can't fault the cottege at all.

Positive: Everything was perfect, such a relaxing enjoyable stay. We loved everything about this cottage. It’s well located just outside St Andrews. We took our dog who loved the quiet open space, plenty of room to run. The hot tub is a fantastic addition and we used it both evenings we stayed. We lived it so much I think we will be back,
