Positive: Very charming, lovely gardens. Extremely quiet. Breakfast was delicious and quick. Appreciated the extra power bar to plug in phones, etc. check in very friendly and easy. Glad to have parking. Close to excellent restaurant

Negative: We have gotten used to “black out” curtains, so morning light came a bit early. Stairs were narrow, but that’s what comes with an older building.

Positive: Excellent breakfast in a very nice room overlooking the garden. The garden itself was exceptional, with lots of different spaces to sit and admire the flowers. Parking was right beside the front entrance. The rooms were tidy and comfortable. Very good value for money.

Negative: The bedrooms were a bit spartan but then you pay for what you get so cannot complain.

Positive: Lovely place, lovely people, was looked after well, and had a comfortable stay. Welcoming check in, and DELICIOUS breakfast. Also - delightful cooky lounge decor, overlooking gorgeous garden. Really uplifting!

Negative: OK, so - in my room I kept on hearing a loud and constant click, click, click all night - like the pipes were warming up or cooling down. I checked the rad in the bathroom it was fine. And finally at 2am(!!!!!) I decided I couldn't take it any more - so I tracked down the culprit - an electric space heater under the desk, and unplugged it! Finally I could sleep - but it meant I only got 5 hours, which was disappointing. They were super apologetic when I told them, and said they thought they had fixed it.

Summary: Lovely building, fab hosts, very comfortable. Would stay again.
