Positive: Secluded location. A bit of a drive to find but well worth it. Very comfortable with marvellous views. Spacious. All exactly as advertised.

Negative: A bit difficult to sort recycling. No containers in the house and bins at bottom of steep drive.

Positive: The property was in a beautiful location with short walk to a rocky beach. Close to some lovely sights. It’s warm and comfortable. Plenty crockery etc in the kitchen. A great base to explore the beautiful surroundings.

Negative: First morning woke up to no heating, hot water or gas to cook! The gas bottles outside had not been checked and were empty. This is totally unacceptable when people are due to stay for 3 nights. It was sorted the same day but was stressful and we had to go out without our cooked breakfast or a shower. Not as the promotional pictures portrayed, much more bare and not as homely, no lamps in the living area just ‘big’ lights. No welcome pack as mentioned in reviews so make sure you bring everything you need! No games or PlayStation as mentioned. Batteries in remotes not working only one spare, we had to change the ones from the bedroom. Outside furniture not as pictured and lying all over the garden. Windows dirty, shame with such beautiful views. Bathroom towel rail, shower control and blackout blind in the bedroom, broken. Out of date food items in the cupboard. Hoover not charged and know where to charge it. As you come in the back door the smell from the toilet was awful! Recycling impossible as bins full to the brim.

Summary: Enjoyed our holiday but not quite as luxurious as expected.

Positive: Spacious, well designed cottage with good quality fittings and nice views. Largely comfortable and well equipped. Lovely area with lots to do.

Negative: Liked pretty much everything but would have preferred more comfortable seating in the living room. An armchair to sit by the window and enjoy the views would have been appreciated.

Positive: The cottage exceeded our expectations. The position of the villa is a little remote but the views are outstanding. The villa was immaculately clean and very comfortable and had lots to offer. The kitchen area and bathroom were superb and the bed very comfy. We did not want to leave and hopefully we will be able to return for longer. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
