Positive: With the rural setting on the door step you could wonder and enjoy it anytime. We loved the stream and had a lovely time in it( just don't forget the bug repellent) we were super lucky on one of the trips to the stream getting to see a herd of deer leaping back into the forest.

Negative: Can't really say there was anything not to like, the stairs took a bit of getting used to but mastered them in the end.

Positive: That the key was in the door already so easy, That the property was very clean and big, The facilities were great, we had all we needed to prepare dinners at the cottage. Lovely and quiet and great for the dog.

Negative: The pillows were really uncomfortable and the cottages really are in the middle of nowhere so on the one night we fancied getting a takeaway we couldn't as the nearest town is 20mins away so would of been cold by the time we got it back and very little shops were ever open.

Positive: Tom is a fantastic host, the location is remote enough for a quiet break but close enough for walks and pubs. Homemade flapjack was delicious! We suggested including a little bit of the history of the buildings and land and it would also be really good to have a map of the land which includes the walks on their own property as they likely have a few hidden gems to explore. We would definitely book again in the future :) .

Negative: Not a major issue but carpet edges and skirting boards could've done with a bit more detail cleaning.

Positive: Super location. We took 3 cottages for a family group and there was plenty of space for the children with a great playground and outdoor toys.

Negative: There was a little confusion over the wood fired hot tub, which was specific to one of the cottages, but no real problems.
