Positive: Excellent location regarding access to beach and vibrancy.

Negative: Terrible traffic noise from the highway next to the property. The sliding door to the balcony is absolutely non noise proof. 6 flights of stairs (2 section ricketty), definitely not for the elderly. No lift access. Single ply toilet paper, which is almost non usable. The closets were filled with household things, so much so there is no decent space to hang clothes.

Negative: The apartment is also next to the motor highway, road noise 24/7. There is no lift in the building and the apartment is located on the third floor, climbing the stairs with heavy suitcases could be challenging. The bathroom sink was blocked. Water overflowed when we started the washing machine. Bathroom bench top and floor were flooded. Issue was attended and resolved the next day. However, it was not a pleasant start of our holiday. Bedroom’s curtain is not great, sunlight literally lights up the whole room at 5:30am. There is not much room to sit or hang out in the pool area. Couple broken sun loungers and freezing cold pool water are not inviting at all. Ceiling fan has its own mind, start and stop whenever it liked, operating instruction would be handy.

Positive: Great location. Super efficient property handlers whose information and ease of contact was exemplary. Very good facilities and complex for the money. Would stay here again.

Negative: Bit of road noise but if you want to be by the beach then thats the price you have to pay.

Positive: The location was amazing - perfect to watch the sunset over Scarborough beach. 5 min walk to supermarket Ann’s cafes ect. Great parking insight which is really needed. Pool was fabulous and being in the shade in the afternoon would make it perfect for families. Welcome package and a small milk in the fridge on arrival were very thoughtful and really appreciated.
