Summary: Close to the boat ramp, 10 minutes from town/walmart, nice location, appreciated the updated look of renovated house. Few minor things (hot water issues/ furniture issues/ lack of supplies/cleanliness) nothing too bad though. For fisherman/ guys, it’s probably perfect, for a family good enough. We had a good trip.

Summary: My wife and I stayed with our 4 adult kids. We were visiting family nearby, so didnt use the outside garage. The house had plenty of space for everyone and a big open living area. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: We needed a getaway from New York & boy did this house deliver. We spent our week visiting local attractions, hanging around the house & enjoying the Tennessee vibe. Easy check in process, communication with property owners, close enough to town for gas/groceries/etc. Loved the entire look & feel of the home. Cozy & modern farmhouse/fisherman cave was gorgeous! Basically if you’re reading this, just book it 👍

Summary: Great location, parking/unloading at lodge awkward, no instructions to operate tv so watching sweet 16 very stressful, no regular coffee pot, (Kurig-only brought regular coffee/filters, grill not only didn’t work but nastiest I’ve ever seen(had to cook $100 steaks in oven) couldn’t contact host, rat turds all in my $100k bass boat parked in garage. Although perfect location for me, doubt I’ll be back.

Summary: Good: Plenty of room inside and out. Decor was nice. Plenty of utensils and plates and stuff like that. Plenty of towels. Had 4 girls there and stayed a week and never ran out of towels. Great place to entertain family and friends. Allowed us to check out a little later than the 10am checkout time. Owner was very responsive to our request. Bad: Oven didn’t work and was a big deal since we had planned to host a family thanksgiving. Water in shower was at best luke warm. There was a little mold in the freezer. Meh: (stuff clearly shown on the pictures but didn’t realize we wouldn’t like.) Everything was upstairs or down stairs. Was little harder than we expected. Only one bathroom on main floor so everyone had to use the master suite bathroom. Beds not very comfortable.

Summary: Stayed here with 3 other buddies, two boats and two trucks. The garage is big enough to hold the 2 boats inside, which is very rare! The house has plenty of beds for everyone, though you do share rooms so couples may want to consider that. It is located in an area that makes most of the lake accessible though the many boat ramps and you can go just about anywhere you want to fish within a 20 minute drive. When the lake rebounds, as the fishing has been less than stellar, we'll be back to this location for sure.

Summary: We got married at Howe farms and had most of our bridal party stay here with us! The property had tons of charm. It was very cleanly and we loved that it was off the beaten path but still close to everything! We loved the openness of the upstairs. I would definitely stay here again!
