We're about 19 miles from China Peak Ski Resort & 45 minutes to McKinley Grove.

Summary: We needed a weekend away and this place was amazing. The wood burning fireplace was one of the best parts! We played games, had great food, took walks and had lots of laughs. This place is comfortable and cozy. We might need to go back!!

Summary: This cabin had all necessary items we needed for our stay. Easy access and entry, although we did have to wait a bit when we realized we hadn't been given the entry code and had to ask. Responses did take a bit to receive when we communicated but the host was very kind and apologetic. The rooms were surprisingly spacious with plenty of room for our children to rest. The Pac Man tabletop game was a hit with the kids. We were pleasantly surprised to find a doggy kennel in the bedroom which we were able to use for our sweet puppy which the owner allowed us to bring into their home. Everything is close by to stroll around the small main Street. We would like to recommend that streaming aligns with what is in the binder and what is on VRBO. We thought we had access to some services and had to clarify to make sure. Luckily, we have our own streaming we pay for and we're able to access it with no problem. It is very peaceful and quiet neighborhood and highly recommend it to larger families.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the Lyon’s Den. The cabin is quaint and stocked with all that you need for a stay. The owner was very responsive and quick when we had issues with the internet and had it back in business very quickly. Cabin is in a great neighborhood and within walking distance to the lake, as well as town.

Summary: We came up at the last minute since it was hot hot hot in the Valley. The air-conditioners in the bedrooms were game changers. Quiet cul-de-sac with very little traffic and a great little, well stocked cabin. Great couple of days to get out on the lake!! Thanks for letting us enjoy the mountains!

Summary: Our original dates were ‘stormed out’ last season, but we were able to take advantage of a nice week in Shaver Lake this Nov. The home was great cabin with lots to do as well as lots of hikes for the daytime. Full kitchen to prepare our feast. Used the fireplace each night while we enjoyed family time with games or movies. Enjoyed the spa on the back deck, nice and warm as the temps dropped to 30s. Beds were super comfortable, with plenty of blankets if you needed more warmth. Loved waking up, to the sunshine (in Nov) and going out on the deck to enjoy some coffee, while the family woke on their pace. It was a great place and highly recommended.

Summary: This is just a great cabin. It’s amazing how roomy it is in the rooms and still seems to hold this cozy atmosphere. The hosts are very nice and great communicators. You can walk to the lake or the town easily. We will be back!

Summary: Amazing, beautiful, comfortable, spacious homey cabin. This is my new favorite place, the cabin has the most comfortable beds large areas for gathering and hanging out with family. It is in the perfect location just about a 5-10min walk to the lake. Well stocked when you forget something, it’s there! Thank you! Summary: Our stay was wonderful from beginning to end. The owners Brandon and Veronica were nothing but gracious and generous. From the evenings around the firepit, the comfy beds, to the kitchen with all the comforts of home, it was a weekend we will not soon forget. It was so cozy and beautiful for all of us. We will definitely be returning for more memorable moments and good times with friends.
