Welcome to our Strawbale Casita. We want to make this experience the best for you so we removed all cleaning fees and chore lists. Just come and enjoy.
My husband and I built this home. It is a 600 square ft casita that is very comfortable and has everything you need. We occasionally provide a blowup Jacuzzi for your pleasure and relaxation (Let us know if you are interested). We are just south of Downtown Phoenix, but walking or biking distance from it. Our home has a very constant temperature due to the fact that the walls are about 20 inches thick. We are about 6-10 blocks from the light rail, sports venues, the convention center, theater, bars, and restaurants. We live in another Strawbale next door and can share info about the area (we are natives) but we will also give you all the privacy you need. We think you will really enjoy this unique experience. Come and see for yourselves. We are building another strawbale home right behind these which is a Hacienda with a courtyard. We are in the construction stage and will be happy to give you a tour. Summary: We had a lovely time with our first stay in a strawbale home- everything true to the posting. Easy checkin and easy check out. Excellent location for access to downtown and dining. The only downside is very obvious and constant air noise from the airport close by. Once I used air plugs, I was able to sleep past 6:30.

Summary: This is such an adorable place. Hosts were so generous and available. They even had a bottle of wine when I arrived. It was a house made of straw! Very comfortable bed. Location was close to what I needed.
