Positive: Fantastic hotel. We were greeted with a free upgrade. Super nice and friendly reception staff. The free breakfast was excellent. You could even order cappuccinos and other specialty coffees for free. The view to downtown San Marino is fantastic and I would argue that you don’t need to stay any closer. It is a simple 5 mile drive to the center of old town where there’s lots of parking. I would prioritize a nice place to stay then being closer to the center. Did I mention that they have a pillow menu where you can choose from five different types of pillows. This type of stuff happens at five star hotels.

Negative: The rooms were not equipped with wine openers so you need to bring your own. We borrowed one from the bar downstairs.

Summary: Amazing stay. Amazing value.

Positive: An excellent location if you are traveling by car, with parking conveniently located right opposite the hotel. It made our stay very comfortable and stress-free. The breakfast was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the local cheeses — they were a wonderful touch. Beautiful views open up from the balconies, making the mornings and evenings especially pleasant. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Positive: Hotel on the outskirts of San Marino so excellent access to the highways and parking. Staff were courteous and helpful. Rooms look like new and are very clean. Good options for breakfast.
