Summary: Brittany and the rest of the staff at Wayside were wonderful. They made us feel welcome, talked to us about the history and quirks of the, and our room was very quaint. The Christmas decorations in the room were a nice touch.

Summary: We were very surprised that the Tavern and Restaurant were closed. This should have been advertised before booking. The room was very clean, but the bathroom was very dated with peeling paint, the bathtub was scaled with residue, and discolored peeling concrete resin. The carpet was old, stained, and bubbling up, which is a tripping hazard. The window shades in the room were ripped and broken as well. THIS INN has SO much Potential, so sad to see how run down it is. I booked this thinking it was a quaint little inn for our 10th anniversary.I was shocked and did not expect the accommodations to be what they were. We made the best of it, but it was very disappointing.

Summary: What a lovely place. We spent a night here, and the facility was historic and beautiful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff could not have been kinder and more welcoming. We really enjoyed talking with them about the history of the area. I hope we can stay here again!!
