Summary:
Close to everything when you stay right downtown in Old Harbor on Dodge St with direct beach access. Now rented by Herdman Hospitality, this one-bedroom (king and pull-out in living room), 1 full bathroom with a jetted tub. Includes a minifridge, microwave, sink, Roku TV, wifi, A/C, front and back decks, and a shared outdoor shower. Linens and beach basics supplied. Offers direct beach access and in town, 3-5 mins from the ferry. Accommodates up to 4. Ocean views. Free Parking. Pet friendly.
The Space:
The front porch is shared with the neighboring suite and it has rocking chairs. That front entrance leads into the living room space which has a pullout couch, mini fridge, microwave, sink, coffee pot, and kitchen basics, as well as table and chairs. The connecting space is a king bedroom with a closet and access to the back deck through a glass door. The full bathroom is off of the bedroom.
Guest Access:
There is an entrance from the front street side porch or the back deck off of the parking lot.

Waverly Suite 1 is right downtown in Old Harbor. There is direct beach access to the Baby Beach area of Crescent Beach. The Old Harbor ferry dock is only about a 5 min walk. A majority of shops and restaurants are within walking distance. New Harbor is a 15-20 minute walk.

Summary: Waverly is wonderful. The location can't be beat, no car necessary. The apartment is beautifully kept and the host left us some lovely island treats. There is a great back porch with a wonderful view of the water, as well as a great covered front porch where you can sit and watch the island activity go by. We were so happy to have a dog with us and the host was wonderfully communicative and helpful. I can't recommend enough.

Summary: Cute, convenient, walking distance to downtown and ferry. Host was very responsive. Only downside was size for 3 adults. A bit cramped but would have been perfect for a couple.

Summary: Cottage was adorable and just as advertised. Great location and steps to Baby Beach. The views were lovely. Host was super responsive and even accommodated us when the ferries were canceled due to TV r hurricane. A great little gem downtown!

Summary: A Perfect Stay at the Waverly Suite #1 on Block Island! We absolutely loved our stay at the Waverly Suite #1. From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless—the suite was immaculate, and the attention to cleanliness was top-notch. The furniture was beautifully maintained and super comfortable, but the real MVP was the king bed. It was super comfortable! The suite had every amenity we could ask for, including flawless WiFi (which, let’s be honest, is a rare gem on an island). Whether it was streaming, working remotely, or just scrolling in peace, the connection never skipped a beat. One of our favorite parts of the Waverly was sitting out on the porch with a beverage in hand and watching the ebb and flow of town life. It’s like front-row seats to Block Island’s charming daily rhythm. Plus, having the beach literally in our backyard—with super easy access—was unbeatable. You can go from porch to ocean in minutes. Location-wise, the Waverly is the definition of convenience. Everything in town is just a short stroll away—shops, restaurants, you name it. You really don’t need a car if you’re staying here. Our host was fantastic and checked in via text to make sure we had everything we needed. We can’t recommend the Waverly Suite #1 highly enough. If you’re heading to Block Island and want the perfect combination of comfort, location, and laid-back island vibes, this is the place to stay.
