Positive: the layout of the accommodation worked really well .The hot tub and outside seating area was great. The local area to walk our dog waa fantastic

Negative: We found the overall cleanliness was not amazing. There was a sanitary towel wrapper under the main bedroom bed and a piece of Christmas wrapping paper. There was hair in the hot tub when we arrived.

Positive: The views were great, beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed the hot tub

Negative: Not enough dinner wear and a lack of knives forks and spoons there were only 8 of each. Also only one pan to make a meal. Not enough seating as who wants to sit on stools all night and a very uncomfortable sofa

Positive: The lodge was in a beautiful place and we were very impressed with most of the facilities . We were very comfortable and loved the hot tub. It was a perfect place to take our dog for plenty of great walks in the woods . We were a family of 7 so it was great for all of us to be together for a few day’s away.

Negative: Unfortunately the only thing that let the lodge down was the WiFi. When you have everyone on their phones or children on their gadgets it was annoying that it wasn’t working. Also we couldn’t watch a film in the evening as a family. I really think they need to sort this problem out .

Summary: We were lucky that we had good weather to enjoy our time in the lodge and use the hot tub.
