Beautiful Bayou is an ideal vacation destination that features a swimming pool, outdoor grill area, boathouse and dock with a 270 degree waterfront view, all in an exclusive neighborhood within easy distance to all major services.
Beautiful Bayou has 3 bedrooms/2 baths and sleeps 6. The Master bedroom has a brand new top of the line pillow top King size bed with gorgeous expansive views from bed over the water with no sign of civilization. The house is a split plan with master bedroom and master bath with its own air conditioning system on one side of the house. The 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed and the 3rd bedroom has a daybed with a pullout twin trundle, thus making into a king if wanted. The 3rd bedroom overlooks the swimming pool and also has a beautiful waterfront view through wide plantation shutters over 2 sliding glass doors. There is a renovated bath off the pool to be shared by the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. As soon as you walk through the front door the beautiful bayou will “WOW” you with its amazing water views and its ideal setup for entertaining. The open great room concept allows you to feel as if you are virtually living outdoors. Two sides of the home are all reflective glass which allows you to get up close and personal with nature (without the birds, etc., ever knowing you are observing). The dining area is exquisite with new Pottery Barn table seating 8 (it will comfortably accommodate 10 as it is an oversized table). The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel GE Monogram appliances and Caphalon cookware. Cleanups are a breeze with dishwasher, garbage disposal and sink overlooking the water!!!
The living room is large and expansive with 8 sliding glass doors opening onto a 270 degree panoramic view from a pool/deck area that takes in both sunrise as well as sunset. The deck leads down to the boat house dock for escape to excellent fishing, playing with the manatees, as well as dolphin and bird watching. The manatee love drinking fresh water from the garden hose and will even eat crunchy Romaine lettuce from your hand. The Beautiful Bayou house has two central A/C and heat units and there are numerous ceiling fan units throughout. The utilities are included. There is also free high speed Internet service for TV, Movies and WIFI. When you are ready to venture out from the lush tropical landscaping of the property, you will find you’re centrally located. The beautiful Anna Maria beaches are just minutes away; Busch Gardens is less than one hour and Disney/Universal Studios/Sea World are less than two hours. Within a 10 minute drive you’ll find prestigious golf courses, major grocery stores, liquor stores, gourmet markets, restaurants, movie theaters, and also local attractions such as Palma Sola Botanical Gardens, Robinson Preserve Nature Park, and DeSoto National Memorial Park. 30 minutes to the south are sister cities of Sarasota and Long Boat Key which showcase a vibrant arts and cultural scene including world class dining, luxury shopping, the Ringling Museum of Art and concerts/live events at the Asolo Repertory Theater and Van Wezel Performing Arts Center. Summary: I rented this property for three months from Dec - Feb and I was not disappointed! Lisa was such a lovely host and the house was even better than in the photos! It was immaculately kept, beautifully furnished inside and out with amazing views of nature on the back deck including manatees and dolphin sightings in the river. The location is a short drive to shopping, restaurants & the beach. This was my perfect getaway house!!!!!

Summary: We are from the UK and had the perfect vacation in this beautiful house on the water. It was quiet and peaceful in a beautiful setting which is what we wanted and yet close to the beach, shops, restaurants and night life which we frequented. Summary: We stayed at this incredible house over Christmas 2015. My girlfriend and I had the most amazing experience. We live in New York and to get away from the cold winter and to stay at such an amazing property was a pure dream. The weather was perfect as was the home. The host was friendly, attentive and met us at exactly the time we agreed upon. "Beautiful Bayou" was BEAUTIFUL. Thank you for such an amazing vacation. We would have no problems in highly recommending this vacation home.

Summary: I believe that most people only do a review when things are not so good with their rental, and I have to say that is how it has been with me over the years as well. But, this is the exception! I was very happy with my stay at, “Beautiful Bayou,” and that name fits it very well. My first choice was to find a place on Anna Maria Island, but I found everything I wanted already booked and ridiculously priced! So, then I looked on Siesta Key, Long Boat Key and Lido Key, but the feel wasn’t right. After more searching, I finally found that special gem I was looking for, and it was a private and complete home in an upscale waterfront neighborhood on a protected bayou just off the Manatee River; which provides great boat access to Anna Maria Island and all of Tampa Bay. And, it was just across from the Bradenton Yacht Club where some our friends belong. The home is classy in every way with a completely stocked kitchen, a wonderful formal dinette set, wrap around sliding glass windows viewing a water front of about approximately 500 feet, TV in every bedroom, an amazing deck and pool area, as well as a generous dock and boat house that has both electric and water available. (This is truly great if you have a boat of up to about 28-30 feet.) The hammock between the two old oak trees on the spacious side lawn was my favorite spot for reading and chilling out, and also for watching the dolphins, manatees and other exotic sea life do their coming and going along the incredibly beautiful and natural bayou. You might want to bring your kayak or paddle board if you have one, since this bayou is a perfect place for it. We did the easy 15 minute drive to the many beaches on Anna Maria Island during the day, and also did our best to try each and every one of world class restaurants there at night! (We missed a few but will get to them next year.) A month is just not long enough at “Beautiful Bayou”! We promise to do at least 2 months upon our return. Thank you “Beautiful Bayou” for the memories and for sharing your rare beauty and delicate nature with us.

Summary: I found treasure in Bradenton, Florida at "Beautiful Bayou." I admit it, I've been a California Snob for a long time and never thought I'd be impressed with any place in Florida. My tune has changed and I'm loving North West Bradenton, Florida. The home we rented called, "Beautiful Bayou," has be updated throughout and was immaculate inside and out when we arrived. The owner was very helpful telling us about the area in terms of restaurants, sites to see, places to go, and she clearly took pride in taking care of her property and in assuring we were properly taken care of. We love the outdoors and so we found a place to rent paddle boards and used them in nearby Robinson Preserve on three different days. We also biked for miles each day and found treasures wherever we went. We even found a place to rent horses nearby and rode them on the causeway beach and on back road trails. In retrospect, I only wish we had rented a boat to explore the islands nearby as well, and also to fish and to party cruise down the gorgeous coast line and the inner bays. Our weather was fabulous the entire time and our short distance to the beaches allowed us to avoid long lines of traffic. (Due mostly to spring breakers.) We highly recommend "Beautiful Bayou" for virtually anyone, and we definitely plan to come back. Overall, I'd say it was the best vacation we've ever had and at a great value!

Summary: What a wonderful and serene view from this secluded waterfront home. Literally, open water view from every room throughout the house without looking at any neighbors. Woke up in the mornings and did not have to lift my head off the pillow to enjoy the birds singing and the tree leaves rustling in the gentle river breeze. Coffee out on the deck and watching dolphins frolicking in the water. A perfect place to relax and recharge.
