Summary: The River House is very special! It is so comfortable, so clean, the river view amazing, so close to everything, beautiful grounds, and the absolute best pet friendly location I have ever experienced! We ate at great restaurants, relaxed on the deck, cooked with family, the boys played golf, we sat around the fire pit, and used the swings on the river. We are already planning our next visit.

Summary: This was our first family trip to NC as a family. We have two boys on the spectrum and a dog. This was prefect for us. We had room to spread out and there was plenty to do in Sylva and along the river! The house had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. We booked a stay for next year!

Summary: We were in the area for a weekend wedding. This location was perfect as it was central to everything. The house is very comfortable and clean. We loved the river views, the house porch and the river deck. Being on the river and not having scary winding roads to travel on at night was ideal!

Summary: This home is in a gorgeous location with breathtaking views of the Tuckuseegee River. It’s so peaceful here. It’s super easy to get to this home without trekking up a mountain on winding roads and everything you need is super close. This is a must stay!!

Summary: We absolutely enjoyed our stay at The River House. We so enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the River. If you have a four legged friend it couldn't be more pet friendly. They way the gates are laid out is genius for everyone's dogs. He could lay on the porch with us and still have access to the back yard. It is a short drive into Sylva for Restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed the fire pit with an amazing grate to cook over the fire. We played cornhole in the side yard and enjoyed the River deck as well. The River House is cute, clean and well equipped for anyone's stay. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Summary: This was our second stay at the River House but the first time we've been to Dillsboro in winter. We had a wonderful time! There was a big storm, and we watched as the swollen Tuckasegee carried branches and logs past our cabin. Then we had a little snow! The cabin was clean and comfortable.

Summary: We travel in this area quite often to see our son and daughter-in-law. This house is the best pet friendly rental we have found for location, comfort, cooking kitchen, river views, bathroom space, dog gates, and amenities. Absolutely loved this house! This was a short visit for us, but we will be back! We are already looking at dates for another visit!
