Looking for a winter rental for skiing or snowmobiling? Downhill skiing less than30 minutes away at Pleasant Mountain in Bridgton, Maine or 30 minutes from North Conway New Hampshire. Snowmobiling outside your door once the lake freezes, usually by January. We are now offering 50% monthly discounts for January, February and March, 28 day minimum.
Winter can be beautiful in Maine on the lake.
.A GREAT PLACE ANY SEASON OF THE YEAR! Quiet Spring get away from it all! Perfect summer retreat with a large deck overlooking the sandy beach. Fall foliage at its best and the largest county fair in Fryeburg Maine only 15 miles away. Winter Wonderland with ice fishing outside your door and skiing nearby. Only a half hour from North Conway, NH.
A beautiful lakefront location for your family and friends to enjoy any season of the year. It is large enough to accommodate two families, your family reunion, or special occasion for an additional event fee.
The main living area inlcudes a fully stocked and remodeled kitchen, living room opens onto the large deck includes a pellet stove and TV, air conditioned master bedroom with king bed also opens onto the large deck, spa bathroom with deep tub for soaking (please note the jets no longer work) and separate shower, loft area with separate bedroom with double bed.
Please Note: There are spiral staircases to go up to the loft bedroom and down to the lower level. They can be dangerous for young children. You may bring a gate to attach with zip ties to the metal railing.
The lower level comprises of a large family room which inlcudes a seating area, large screen TV/DVD, bar and pool table. TV has Netflix so sign into your account. There is a common area with a foosball table and additional sleeping space on futon for two. Also downstairs is a full bathroom with a large shower only and a bunk room with a bunk bed set, two additional twins and one double bed. There is an additional refrigerator on this level. Walk out to the private beach area.
There are two lock out areas, one of the closets in the master bedroom and the furnace room downstairs. These areas are off limits, as well as the garage.
The washer and dryer are not available to daily/weekly renters because of our septic system. There is a laundromat only 4 miles away on Main St. in the village of Brownfield.

Summary: The sandy beach was so fantastic couldn’t have been better. There was plenty of space to eat indoors and outdoors depending on what the weather was. And it was mostly sunny so the big deck was great. The pond was super quiet which we appreciated. And the pair of Loons visited us every day. Owners very responsive to help us enjoy our stay

Summary: We had a wonderful stay! Loons were singing, eagles overhead daily! Kids had a blast in the kayaks and swimming! Smores at night by the firepit! All in all, it was a great stay!

Summary: This was our first trip to Maine and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with where we ended up!! It was probably the most relaxing vacation we have ever taken. All we did was swim, swim, swim, spent great time together as a family, read some books and played some games. We will definitely return!! Louise and her husband were very helpful and answered our many questions!! We told everyone we knew how awesome our vacation was.

Summary: This was the second time staying in this lake home. Plenty of room, all the amenities you will need. We spent the majority of our time kayaking and swimming or hanging out of the massive deck. The owners are quick to respond to any questions and want all their guests to enjoy their time at the lake. We will definitely be back!!

Summary: We enjoyed all the downstairs space and all the amenities that were there! The owners supplied and stocked the place more than any other VRBO I ever stayed at! Beautiful property, plenty of room, outdated but funky and retro! Our family from Colorado enjoyed it also!

Summary: The property is great, the pond is great. The house is very well stocked with everything you will need! Owners are very thoughtful. The house is a closer to a main road than we would have liked, so you can hear the traffic all hours, which was kind of a bummer.

Summary: We stayed here on Columbus Day weekend and the lake was beautiful. Super quiet at night. The house is on a big lot of land with plenty of room to spread out. It had all we needed from kayaks & canoe, to a sandy beach, dock, swim platform, fire pit & of course the big deck. The house itself is spread out over 3 floors. It could use some freshening up but its a lake house, you cant help getting sand on your feet & inside etc. Kitchen had all we needed & I'm glad they leave spices & condiments that are still good. Saved us from having to buy everything. All & all its good enough for us with a few family members along. The Hyyti,s David, Bernadette, etc.

Summary: The location of this house is really amazing. Beautiful views if lake and easy to use the water. Kayaks, etc for use. But the house was one of the oddest houses we have stayed out and the upkeep could have been better. We had to replace at least 3 light bulbs and the light over the pool table was completely not working so impossible to use at night. The jacuzzi tub is not working and obvious that it is not even connected. When we contacted the owner the only reply was that it must need fixing. There is NO power button at all and the wires are disconnected. We were really looking forward to using this and this is false advertising. We also saw a mouse in the bathtub on our last day. When we told the owner, the reply was that we must have too high expectations. So I honestly cannot give this more than 3 stars besides the location. Animal hair everywhere and I would not come here with young children as the spiral staircase is really hard to navigate. Also really hard to find light switches for every room.

Summary: The communication with the property managers was great. The view is amazing from the deck and having access to the dock is great. The inside was a little dirty when we got there which was a little disappointing. We spent most of our time outside using the fire pit, deck and lake. The Spiral staircase from the basement to the loft is dangerous for little kids. The house has lots of beds for everyone, the loft gets hot, but if you have a lot of fans it’s not bad. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the grill was great. The outside deck needs a few repairs as it’s starting to fall forward, but the huge deck is nice to look at the lake and stars at night! Overall the stay was great.
