Positive: This apartment has a spectacular view of Kusadasi. It really is breathtaking. It is close to the port and the main areas of the town. We had a wonderful 4 day stay and would highly recommend it (there are quote a few external stairs to access the road - but that's typical of Turkey).

Positive: The location is extraordinary. The view is incredible, breathtaking. Very close to downtown where the shops are. Many restaurants nearby. A lovely walk along the waterfront to everything. The hosts were truly great. Zero complaints.

Negative: A bit of a climb up some stairs, which can be a challenge if you have a lot of luggage like we did. But otherwise zero negatives.

Positive: This flat is undeniably in the BEST location in Kusadasi, AND if you are driving, the secured private parking next to the flat is priceless. The host was gracious and provided clear driving instructions. He met us on arrival and ensured we knew where to park and how to enter the flat. The view from the balcony is exceptional, the bedroom is quite comfortable with room darkening shades, the bathroom had really hot water and a strong shower, and the washing machine was much needed after traveling two weeks in Turkey. Also the heating/ cooling unit works well ( we used the heat). We highly recommend this flat for its comfort, location, parking and great value!

Negative: A couple of caveats, although not deal breakers for us. 1) There are a lot of steps down and up to the apartment. 2) Unsurprisingly and as others have mentioned, there is sometimes a musty smell. But this clears up when the doors and windows are open. More annoying for me is that clearly some people have smoked inside, and there are ash trays inside. Of course, this is Turkey....so I wasn't surprised. The cigarette smoke smell also mostly clears when doors are opened. 3) The flat is a bit run down and would benefit from a few updates. However, I suspect that if it were updated, it would be out of our price range. 😁

Positive: Very nice host and well organized handover of the keys. Great view from the balcony towards the sea and castle island.

Negative: Sadly, the place has a serious mold problem, most likely coming form the bathroom without ventilation. Even with all of the windows/doors open, the smell was intense.

Positive: Excellent location as all other reviews mentioned. The owners are good for answer questions.

Negative: The bathroom facilities are in need of refurbishing. It’s electric boiler, which means you have limited supply for shower. It might be ok if it is in the Summer when you do not need so much hot water, otherwise you have to really plan your shower time. We kept running out of hot water and had to finish the shower in cold water in April. The flat is quite dump. It’s quite a strong smell when we were there and you can feel all the bedding dump. This is understandable since it’s next to the sea, however, a dehumidifier would easily solve the problem.

Summary: Location is excellent, facilities indeed needed a refurbishment

Positive: Very accommodating hosts and friendly. Free and safe parking, views are spectacular, apartment has everything you need and is great for cooking your own dinners and enjoying breakfast on the fabulous balcony. It is close to everything including beaches, shops etc. Local people are also friendly and if you don't want to cook there are great restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed our stay.

Negative: Difficult to find anything we didn't like.

Positive: Well located in the city next to the Kusadasi Castle, they had such stunning views both day and night. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance from the stay! If you want a bit of change from hotels, this would be a perfect stay
