Summary: A great place for our large group to stay! We ranged in ages from 79 to 11 and everyone had an excellent vacation! Thank you to Eric, amazing host! And the Alamo is just as great as everyone says it is!

Summary: Lovely 1930 waterfront cabin/home. Our Family loved all the space. Everyone had their own room. Kitchen was well stocked.Thanks for the salsa it was zippy for us northerners. Swimming/ floating and fishing were great. Kayaking was awesome as well. Three kayaks were provided. Lot’s of firewood for beach fire pit! Cabin was easy to find and so close to St Joseph island. Nice restaurants on the island. We just really enjoyed hanging out at the cabin. The Alamo shower was a nice touch. We took most of our showers out there. Beach area and yard could use some cleaning. We did some while we stayed. Acorns are hell on bare feet. Only other issue we had was that all the screens and windows needed a cleaning. We cleared away the cobwebs/ spider webs. Mattresses were OK.

Summary: This is an old school Northern Ontario cottage. Easy access to the highway and a quick drive to the Soo or the island. Quiet. Finished 2 books in 3 days.

Summary: Perfect spot for our extended family get together (9 total). Lake is beautiful (great paddling) with nice view of st joes island bridge. Lots of sleeping areas nicely spread out. Great way to be together while also having separation when needed. Well appointed and clearly lots of family memories. Classic old school northern Ontario cottage. Thanks!

Summary: Our family of 13 reunion every summer around the Soo and this property is one of the best we've tried. Lots of space, lovely beach, quiet bay. The Alamo is a great feature and even the outhouse is clean and civilized. We would definitely stay again.
