Our well maintained 30' Carver is a floating hotel docked in a secure and gated marina, not for navigating purposes. The marina has few surveillance cameras. Our location is just minutes away from downtown Providence allowing you to easily reach waterfront points of interest by foot.
After a long day around the city or nearby places, you can relax on your own private deck, drink a cup of coffee while listening the sounds of the ocean and contemplating amazing and fantastic views. The floating experience on board is cozy, unique, and unforgettable.
Several great restaurants and pubs are just around the corner, including Indian and Sushi restaurant, Mexican Bar & Cantina, The Whiskey Republic to mention some.
A grocery store is less than 1/2 mile away and a convenience store in the corner. A water taxi service provides pick-up and drop-off to many local hot spots along the Providence Canal.

Summary: We came across Rons boat on VBRO whilst googling for hotels in the Providence area. What an absolute delight it was to find this lovely boat in a beautifully stunning marina thriving with bars and restaurants and a short 15 minute walk to the Train station making it the perfect base for our holiday to explore New England. We could be into Boston in one by trains, Salem by two and over to Newport by Ferry on one hour. An absolutely ideal location. Ot was also just so cool to stay on the boat as it gave so much more freedom and ‘chill’ factor than a hotel room. We wanted to stay another week! Ron was also a fantastic and attentive host, always at the end of the phone for questions and super friendly. The check in and out process was very slick and very relaxed - there was no hardline to be on time for check in or check out - just a really great experience. I cannot recommend the lovely ‘FRIDA’ enough ad an absolute better alternative than a hotel room for your trip to Providence or a base for a New England tour as we used it for. Just excellent! Summary: The property manager was very helpful and available. He made sure we understood what we were renting and what to expect. I have had a lot of experience in boat living. So I knew what to expect. It is a lot like an RV / campground experience but in a boat in a marina. The other people in my group had never been on a boat this large or ever slept overnite on a boat. It was a fun "adventure" for them. And, thanks again to the host , Ron, he was great!

Summary: Don was very responsive and is nice guy. Marina is great and has good onshore shower facility. Very clean. Marina filled with fun people and is adjacent to 3 very good waterfront restaurants. Fish Co. restaurant has good live music. Only issue was parking. City of Providence makes it virtually impossible to park anywhere for a reasonable time.

Summary: I had an amazing experience the weekend 4th of July for our Anniversary first timers definitely not the last time the marina have 2 place for foods and drinks still once we step in the boat everything was really quiet I loved it. Ron the owner super amazing also have other boats....
