This charming waterfront, 2 bedroom, 2 full bath cottage has been fully renovated in 2021. It is on an inlet with view of the open lake to the right and directly across from a state park island near Sassafras Point. Bring your own boat or rent one and use our free dock alongside the boathouse.
The one-story cottage features an open plan. Two-night minimum stay but inquire about 1-night stays during cooler months. Discounts for weekly or monthly stays.
Blue Bliss is just 10 minutes from our two sister waterfront cottages, both next to each other on Wedge Island in Russells Point, with just 3 cottages, coming to VRBO soon once the upgrades are complete.
Blue Bliss Cottage includes: central A/C and heat, 55 inch HD TV with Amazon Firestick with Prime, Netflix and YouTube TV already set up, plus a tv in the main bedroom, high-speed internet, Echo Dot, plus Alexa on both TVs, all new kitchen cabinets and granite countertop, coffee maker and Keurig-type single cup plus coffee and pods, stainless steel appliances (built-in microwave, extra large fridge, natural gas cooktop and dishwasher), table settings for up to 8 (plates, cups, coffee cups, silverware, napkins, etc.) plus pots and pans, cooking utensils, coffee pods and ground coffee for making a large pot, plus sweetener, creamer, salt/pepper.
Enjoy dining with floor to ceiling windows and views of the water. Play board games or puzzles on the game table with lake views.
One of the two full baths has a closet with full-size stackable washer/dryer.
Master bedroom has a queen size bed and full bath, plus TV. Second bedroom has twin-mattress bunkbeds with a third trundle bed that rolls out. The top bunk is best suited for kids or small, agile adults. The living room has a sofa sleeper for 1 or 2 guests. Check the closets for beach and bath towels.
The cottage features one of the bigger covered decks on the lake at 345 square feet and includes a large dining table, ceiling fan, propane grill and 4 luxurious cushioned chairs. We have 1 kayak with life preserver and paddle.
Parking for up to 4 cars. There is yard space in front and back for relaxing or playing games. Enjoy the official Ohio State Buckeye cornhole game.
Décor feature: all paintings are original seascapes by Ohio artists.
Nearby restaurants include the Tilton Hilton, Acheson's Resort, Bobber's and Froggies. Short drive or boat ride to Cranberries on the water and restaurants in town. Book soon, especially for special events, including the St. Mary of the Woods Festival with fireworks, JR Memorial, Putt Around The Lake, Light Up The Lake, and other events you can see at the Chamber's website: visitindianlakeohio.

Summary: This was the perfect spot for our small family as we visited other family nearby. We enjoyed the fire pit at the dock, and the inside floor plan and decor are great. We found plenty of supplies to cook and have a fun weekend there. We'd recommend, and return again if we're in the area. The host is also highly responsive and kind.

Summary: Location is perfect for putting our kayaks directly in the water and paddling around. This was in Avondale on the North side and we were able to check out the "Nature Preserve" in the NE corner of the lake and even went all the way around Pony Island. Our host, Dave, was amazing! He knew it was our 10th anniversary and left us a small gift for our arrival. Since the day after our trip was not booked, he let us check out very late, allowing us one final kayaking trip. The layout is perfect for a couple and two kids (though we went without our kids). 2 bed, 2 full bath with a very large master suite with washer and dryer. The open floor plan is great for making meals and relaxing, and with the nice weather, opening the sliding door and the windows for some fresh lake air! The deck is very large with ample seating options. We made bagels and coffee both mornings and sat on the cushioned arm chairs and just enjoyed the crisp air, birds chirping, and quiet fishermen trolling by. This house is situated deep within one of the many "coves" or "inlets" at Indian Lake. Very low boat traffic and very quiet, and very close to the main part of the lake for power boat activities. We drove our kayaks to Moundwood Kayak/Canoe Access once to try that out. It was about a 15 minute drive and the launch there is very nice with rails on either side for easy put-in and easier take-out. The neighbors on both sides were very friendly! Would stay again! 10/10!
