Your cozy cabin retreat awaits in Celina, Ohio. Our lake side home is perfect for romantic getaways, small families or friends that really like each other! This 2-bedroom home features a queen bed, twin bed, and a full bed, ensuring a comfortable stay for all guests. With amenities including an equipped kitchen, AC, heat, Wi-Fi, and a washer/dryer, your stay will be stress-free. Relax in this marvelous, 104-year-old lake side cabin after a day of exploring the area or fishing. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay here at Al's Place!
As we get closer to fall each day, please know that we will be pulling the dock by the end of September to avoid bitter cold-water temperatures in October. You can still fish off the rocks on shore, but winter prohibits us from having the dock year-round.
This is a new home for us, and while it is still in the process of being updated, it is a charming, little, old home with a unique floor plan right on the lake today. I hope you have a wonderful getaway in our lakeside town during your stay with us.

Please understand that this property is on the lake which means applicable wildlife live in the area, including mayfly, spiders, stink bugs, mosquitos and lady bugs. We do use ecofriendly deterrents, but they do take advantage of open doors and enter anyways. We do not provide refunds for bugs unless a professional pest control exterminator determines there to be an inside infestation. We try to understand that our local birdlife needs these critters for their survival.
Fresh air is the best air, and we do our best for all our guests. This is a smoke/vape free property, both inside and outside. We ask that you to take a walk off the property to public property when you participate in this activity. Additional cleaning fees will be imposed on you when additional efforts are necessary to prepare for next guest due to smoking of any kind, including vaping, e-cigarettes.

Summary: This home was absolutely adorable. The view and back porch right on the lake was stunning!! Our favorite part was watching the Bald Eagles which roosted in the trees very close by!Host was very nice and accommodating.We look forward to staying here again!!

Summary: We fell in love with this cottage the moment we walked in! We literally said out loud "oh this is perfect!" Each room was lovingly decorated and fully prepared with all the amenities (and more!) that you could ever need. Bren has put her heart and soul into making this cottage a gorgeous home away from home. It's exceptionally clean, tidy, bright, and simply perfect! The deck and dock were ideal for our needs and a gorgeous tree provided some shade too. You get the perfect mix of sun and shade. We were pleasantly surprised to see there were 3 cruiser bikes to use too. We had a blast exploring the area on these bikes. No doubt about it, we'll be repeat customers! Strongly recommend this lakeside cottage. Bren was so pleasant and a delight to work with. Easy to contact and always so quick to respond to all of our questions. 10/10 recommend on every level!

Summary: We had a great stay even with temperatures in the 90’s. Our grandkids did some fishing off the dock and we caught 4 species. Bluegill, perch, catfish , and carp. They had a blast. We had other family with boats and they could dock at the cottage and visit. We had a cook out and the deck was good for a gathering of family. Bren was an outstanding host. Cottage is an excellent value for a family trip

Summary: Had a great weekend at Al's place with amazing lake views. Place had everything you need in the kitchen,, plenty of towels and even some extras in case you forgot necessities to help you get ready for the day.Looking forward to returning again for a weekend getaway

Summary: The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds and the thoughtful touches like the birthday bunt cakes, coffee and creamer to get us started and firewood for our first night. The view is absolutely stunning and peaceful!!This host (Bren) went above and beyond for real! I have stayed at Vrbos many many times and she was the most informative the most helpful and ready to make your experience the best it can possibly be of anywhere I have stayed. She is truly part of what makes the stay so personable. I cannot say enough good about this place even right down to seeing an eagle while sitting on the back deck!! If you are looking for a place filled with beauty and peace, while being fully stocked with everything you could possibly need this, is it.

Summary: Came up from Tennessee to visit family and friends for Celina’s graduation. The house was immaculate and the host was above amazing. Accommodations were way more than expected honestly. Fully furnished home with amenities that made it feel like home. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit the area or just relax with a very peaceful setting and amazing view.

Summary: It was everything we eere hoping for. Quiet, cozy and a very relaxing atmosphere. The only drawback was the bed. Although it seemed to be a newer bed, it was extremely firm. Too firm for my back.we would like to come back again; but we will bring a mattress pad.
