Welcome to Watercress lakefront cottage on the South side of beautiful Pentwater Lake. This lovely home features 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. 2 bedrooms have king size beds, another a queen size bed, and there are 4 additional twin beds. The Master bedroom is on the main floor; one bedroom in the lower level and two bedrooms are on the upper level. There is a fun game room in lower level. This home boasts WIFI with cable, TV and a DVD player, air conditioning, ceiling fans throughout, outdoor gas grille, washer/dryer, stove/oven, microwave, & fire pit. High quality workmanship, furniture and fixtures throughout. All linens, towels, pillows, blankets and mattress pads are provided. You may utilize the 8,000 pound boat lift and the wave runner dock.
There is a maximum of 10 people and parking for 5 vehicles. No pets! No fireworks!
Drive around the Lake to the Lake Village of Pentwater for good food, shopping and the beautiful clean sandy beach of Charles Mears State Park. A short 8 mile drive South is the Silver Lake Dunes where you can rent watercraft, ATV's and many other motorized toys. Take a trip on the Mac Woods Dune ride for a real thrill. There are many other activities in Silver Lake such as go carts, zip line, bumper cars, etc.
Rent is by the week, Saturday to Saturday. Check-in is after 4:00 p.m. and check out is promptly before 10:00 a.m. To hold your reservation 1/2 of the total weekly rent l fee will be collected and a signed contract is required. 30 days before check-in the remaining 1/2 will be collected. This home is Platinum LEED certified.

Summary: Excellent location on calm (and not too busy) Pentwater Lake but with access to Lake Michigan. Nice size for a large family. Three full bathrooms. Would definitely return.

Summary: Beautiful home with a fun bunk room and lots of toys/games/books for kids. Large kitchen table for family meals and lots of outdoor seating options as well. The boat lift was a wonderful perk and the kids loved jumping off the dock and swimming. Lots of space for a multi-generation family vacation.

Summary: Our stay in the Watercress Cabin on Pentwater Lake was delightful. The house is very comfortable and the manager is helpful and easy to contact. Beds are comfortable and the basement area is fun for kids. The deck is where you will want to be at sunset and sunrise as it affords a beautiful view of both. Pentwater Lake is not very large, so there aren't lots of power boats on the water - great for kayaking. Nice sandy bottom for jumping off the dock and swimming. Thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay!
