Positive: The building and carpentry were first class. Everything was impeccably clean, it had the fragrance of cedar. Location was great, in a quiet neighborhood next to an expansive park. There was a huge bath, projector, hi-fi. There is a private garden. One could not ask for more.

Negative: Nothing it was perfect. My only regret is not opting for the dinner reservation.

Positive: The property was very spacious. It has all the amenities you need. The owner is very accommodating and extremely helpful. It is beautiful decorated.

Negative: Would be nice to be able to use the kitchen. Is inconvenient to get to if you are not driving. If you drive it is not a problem.

Positive: Very cozy environment and private onsen with superb Japanese garden view. Feel wonderful with their in house Japanese breakfast and Kaiseki dinner as well.

Negative: Maybe if got chairs with backrest will be more comfortable when sitting. But the owner provides us one for our elderly after we requested.

Positive: Beautiful Japanese house where every design detail inside and outside the house has been considered. Mukuge San is a fantastic host and super super helpful.

Negative: It’s fantastic to be able incorporate dinner hosted my Mukuge San in your stay however if you’re not taking dinner it would be good to advertise as a “restaurant with rooms” rather than a self catering house if you’re not able to use the kitchen.

Positive: The design of this house is amazing and just by staying in this house, you feel good. It has all the best of modern Japanese designs. It has a high ceiling, very good light and is all made of very good quality material. The bathroom is amazing. It has a huge bath where you can admire the garden. It has as well a sauna and a massage chair. The owners are super nice and live in the house in front. They can cook dinner for you which is amazing. We choose the Korean menu and it was just fabulous: you are at your place (so you can really relax) and you are being served excellent food. Otherwise, everything works wifi, high home cinema... Definitely a place t treat yourself

Negative: The property has a very nice kitchen but we cannot use it as it is a professional kitchen used for catering. The owner of this place use this place for 2 purposes (not the same time). Intimate restaurant (excellent quality) and rent. This is why the kitchen cannot be used when you rent the house. Effectively when you read the description of the house it does not show a kitchen but with a house of this size, you would expect it is part of the facility. Nevertheless, there are a lot of restaurants nearby. Futon beds are good but I prefer beds

Positive: Really nice house. The owner put a lot of thought into designing this house. The price is very cheap in comparison with the amount of amenities and space you get. Beautiful gardens. Great Japanese style rooms.

Negative: Location is away from everything. It worked well for us as we drove and were on a road trip from Sakaiminato to Matsue Castle. I think this a great option for people with a car on a similar trip.

Summary: Wonderful House. Nice Owner.
