Summary: what an absolute treasure....so much so that I didn't want to give a review in case word got out. Great location and only 15mins from Warnambool and so tranquil that the only sound we heard during our stay was the birds. Our youngest adored the hens, peacock and the horses and was very upset when we had to leave. We will definitely be back. Thankyou so much Michelle and Isaac for sharing your piece of paradise.

Summary: This is a large house with many rooms with all the facilities we needed. The kitchen is modern. The showers are good. The beds are comfortable and the animals are friendly. Great stay.

Summary: Once again and for the last time Stayz has not supplied a description that would have prepared us for the following. Front door wide open on arrival and key in key lock. Although Michelle had two wood fires going the house was freezing and after unpacking the car we were still unable to keep the front door shut. Left message for Michelle re problem. Moved lounge chair down hallway to block the front door and hoped for the best. Closed most doors to try and warm the rooms we were using and turned radiators on in bedrooms as house was still freezing. Not the greatest start to a weeks break. Later that night the door was fixed - sorry but the excuse of the house is old should not be used as all homes have movement especially in these times of weather extremes. Had I realised there was no central heating I would never have chosen to stay at Grassmere. Carrying wood through the house was fun when we were young but old age can be a problem at times. Yes Michelle did carry in wood each day and inthere lies another problem. Peace and quiet we didn't have and that was a major concern as we never knew when people would be around the homestead. Ants in the kitchen, nowhere in en-suite to hang clothes or dressing gowns, window coverings in main bedroom old and damaged and drapes in main loungeroom/diner couldn't be drawn. This could be a fantastic property but needs a lot of work not excuses. Pick up your game Stayz and help your people!

Summary: We googled and found this place when we planned for our Melbourne holiday. Decided to book and stay overnight during our travel to The Great Ocean Road. Our entourage of 8 love the place. The garden with the herbs, vegetables, the chicken & their eggs, the horse and pony etc etc.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay overnight in this very special house . The house was beautifully presented and very well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay . The gardens are lovely and such fun to wander around . We would definitely recommend anyone staying there .

Summary: We had an absolutely pleasant of a stay at this amazingly beautiful property! The picture on this site doesn't do justice of how beautiful the garden is. We had a 7 days trip across Melbourne, we had stayed at a five star hotel and also another holiday house that is right on the beach, but in the end we had the most amazing experience here at "Warrenparinga Country Stay"! Michelle, whom is the host of the property, is very beautiful with a very warm personality. Very lucky we gets to meet her, talking to her felt like speaking to an old friend. She did a wonderful job at organizing and making sure that we got there Ok. Seriously, I had never been to a holiday house where you can find FRESH EGGS in the morning!!! Will definitely stay here again if we are coming back for a visit. Highly recommended to everyone!
