Positive: The house and the room are really comfy and the host really kind in replying to my questions and finding solutions to improve my staying. The house is located in a residential area close to restaurants, bookstores and coffee places; and it’s well connected to the city center. Since I’m new to Vancouver, I’m glad I’ve found this place :)

Positive: It was close to my sister’s place. The bed was comfortable and it had a nice kitchenette.

Negative: The room was very hot, even when turning down the heat and opening the windows. Also, the room was like an attic room with a sloped ceiling on each side, making it awkward to move around.

Positive: Excellent! Was a lovely converted, well kept home into rentals with all the charms. The owners were thoughtful of tenants down to the provided sandals and childs chair. Clean, hardwood floors and stairs, stone looking (acrylic) bath, skylights, 2nd floor patio w. view of mountains, fireplace washer/dryer and coffee options. Housekeeper Eddie inviting, friendly and helpful.

Negative: Shared bathroom but guests were quite respectable and non issue. In east Vancouver, easy bus but a little further if your itinerary is downtown.

Summary: Excellent value for money, residential area charming converted home.
