Negative: Couldn’t fault anything - it exceeded our expectations!

Positive: Room was really cosy and we had a rocking chair which was a pleasant surprise. We both slept really well. There was a nice selection for breakfast (toast, crumpets, and croissants to eat and a selectionof hot drinks and orange juice). View was wonderful and Ruth was really welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend and would love to return.

Negative: Difficult to find but directions were sent the day before our stay.

Positive: Quiet location, next to Farm, lovely views of fields and sheep yet not too far from amenities, town centre and local shops. Comfortable, cosy and clean. Beds were super comfortable. We stayed in a family room and it had a low ceiling and was not that spacious but it was clean and had en suite spacious bathroom with separate bath and shower. Some toiletries provided, complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits. Breakfast was very good, simple but a good variety (fruit, breads, crumpet, cereals, variety of tea, coffee and orange juice). No cooked breakfast, no eggs but it was adequate and we enjoyed it. Check in was smooth and easy. The host Ruth was amazing, very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much. Whenever we asked for things, she tried to accommodate. We loved staying here and would definitely return again if in the area.

Negative: Not much to say, except creaky floorboards and no wardrobe, only dressing table and bedside drawers.
