Summary: Property was great. Loved the house and the location. There seems to be an error in the listing, though, which said it was something like 900 square feet. It almost made me not rent it because I thought it would be too small. I’m wondering if it’s more like 1900 square feet. The property was a very nice size despite what the listing says.

Summary: Our family group of four had a delightful time at this Ontonagon property. Really cool floor plan, clean, updated with all the amenities in kitchen and living areas. And we enjoyed mornings and evenings on the enclosed front porch. A short walk to Lake Superior, a short drive to Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park (highly recommend the Escarpment and Presque Isle River loop hikes) and a worth-the-trip drive to Houghton (highly recommend the Quincy Mine tour). Will hope for a repeat stay when back in the area.

Summary: We enjoyed being able to stay closer to town and go to more of the local shops and restaurants. Close to the beach and the neighborhood is nice and quiet! Didn't use the kitchen but its gorgeous! Enjoyed the shower downstairs for days after the beach.

Summary: Great place to stay no issues. Everything worked as it should. The only issue is parking is extremely tight of your brain a trailer. It was very difficult to park our 28 foot snowmobile trailer. The rear area for parking does not allow for swing as it is off a very tight alley. I would definitely use this house again!

Summary: This is a great house to stay at! We have stayed here several times and love the house in every way. We did not love NOT having shoveling and plowing services done during 4 days of a winter weather storm weather blizzard. We called EVOLVE and spoke in detail about our situation as well as contacting the owner of this property (off site) on the first day the snow started falling. The owner didn't get back to us until the morning we were to check out when we were shoveling to get out. EVOLVE spoke with concern to help us get snow removal done so we could get in and out of the property. EVOLVE said they would call the owner, call me back AND email me with results. I never heard back from EVOLVE. The owner blamed it on the guest services person and EVOLVE. We had to shovel the driveway and entrance into and out of the house for 3 days. This included getting plowed in at the apron of the driveway after the street plows went by. Snow fell for 3 days in an area where Lake Superior effect storms play seriously upon transportation. We were very disappointed with the owner and EVOLVE. This could have been handled very differently had anyone acted with concern for their simple responsibilities as renters.
