Come experience fresh air, serenity and outdoors right next to Lake Hodges in beautiful San Diego! This home on half acre of horse property is steps away from Lake Hodges trails for walking, jogging, biking, fishing, boating and horseback riding. Impeccably maintained horse shelter is perfect for anyone ready to saddle up and walk miles of horse trails. Hike or bike the many surrounding trails. Birdwatcher’s dream destination. 20 min. to Highland Valley vineyards and the Safari Park.
The space
Guests have exclusive use of the whole farm by themselves. This farm property sits on a fenced lot. The farm house has three double rooms and two full baths.
Normal occupancy is for 9 people. 10 people can be accommodated with a tri-fold twin mattress.
Lake Hodges is home to more than 200 bird species and recognized by Audubon Society as a Globally Important Bird Area. Birdwatcher’s paradise.
Our farm is steps away from the great outdoors in the San Dieguito River Park Trail System.

- No extra guests. The maximum allowed number of guests is 6.
- Pet fee applies. Please specify number of pets during booking. Guests will be responsible for all repair/replacement/cleaning costs which can run in excess of $1000.
- No late check out.
- No parties. This is a very quiet residential community. We do not want to be a nuisance to the neighbors.
- Event reservation upon request
- Quiet hours after 9pm.
- Absolutely NO smoking. If there is evidence of smoking inside the house, guests will be responsible for all cleaning costs which can run in excess of $1000.
- Please do not unplug anything from the wall. There are smart home devices around the house which we depend on to keep it secure and everything running smoothly.
- If you have to displace anything in the house (furniture, beddings, etc.) during your stay, please put them back where they were found when you leave.
- Please conserve energy and water. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics has confirmed that San Diegans are paying the highest electricity rates than any other city in the country.
- Accidents can happen. If and when it does, please let us know.

Summary: Had a crew working in San Diego area. The place was quite and well kept. No issues with host. Asked if we could extend and worked with us with extending. No issues at all with this stay. Wish they could all be all like this. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area again.
