Positive: Beautiful location and great people. Loved the cottage. Food was amazing. Staff made me feel very welcomed and cared for. Went on some great adventures!

Negative: I was looking forward to the yoga classes advertised and sad there was no instructor when I was there. Also had a massage and I could tell they where distracted and not focused.

Positive: Wonderful hidden gem, off the main road and with vibes of being away from it all. What it lacks in sandy beaches, it makes up in hospitality and a wonderful team who are friendly and welcoming, and can organize numerous activities. My main aim was scuba diving and shark dives were world-class! The food is amazing, and you are very well looked after. Waidroka is truly a wonder and I would gladly visit again.

Positive: The staff was amazing and property was clean. We really enjoyed the daily activities they offered with the Fijian locals

Negative: Our rooms were up 50+stairs which is a lot to manage for any kind of extended stay none the less with kids. Having to go up and down the stairs multiple times a day took all the relaxing qualities out of the stay. The rooms do not have wi fi either so simply staying connected involved going up and down the stairs also. I would not have booked had I known. The location is very remote. Thankfully we stopped and grabbed snacks for our kids before arriving. I think this place is suited for people traveling alone or dedicated surfers or scuba divers. Amenities for leisure didn’t match the pricing or location

Positive: Staff and people worked there are extremely nice. The WiFi only available at the common areas, but was exceptionally fast. My son had a great time scuba diving!

Negative: 3 miles bumpy and slippery mountain terrain in and out of the “resort”, meal plan has very limited options and overpriced, if you don’t have a rental car, you would be stuck here as captive audiences. If you do have a rental car, make sure to drive super super slow, numerous potholes. In general, the “resort” is nice, but overpriced

Positive: The staff was really outstanding! Tim and Grant are really nice guys and they will make your surfing and diving experience on the Coral Coast nothing short of amazing! The other people were also super caring and lovely. I also really enjoyed sharing my meals with the other guest around the big tables and, of course, had a blast discovering the Kava ceremony!
