Positive: Lovely rural location for the children with horses nearby. Town centre and Foxton Locks short drives away. Quiet - away from traffic

Negative: If I’m picky, noise between the two units can be a little problematic but it would make a great venue for a larger group, combining the two. Kitchen prep surfaces a bit limited.

Positive: The cottage is situated perfectly for Foxton locks, Market Harborough and Kilworth and easy to find. It is very spacious and has all the facilities you need. It is outside the village so very peaceful and quiet with a few horses in the neighbouring fields for company. We stayed for three days and will be happy to book again. Also previously stayed next door at waxwing cottage which is equally as nice. Julie is an excellent host, very accommodating when arriving, accessing the keys and checking that we had everything we needed.

Negative: Genuinely nothing. Am looking forward to our next visit.

Positive: Very clean, warm and comfortable cottage in a great location.

Negative: Some essential cleaning and cooking items were not available at the cottage upon arrival. I would also suggest some basic instructions for things such as where to leave keys and WiFi info could be left for the guests. None of this took away from the overall stay, but just would be an improvement
