Positive: Staff were friendly. Location is close to Mikumi NP entrance. Very large pool. Food was plentiful and very tasty. Staff were accommodating in person. Would be happy to stay again.

Negative: Communication online prior to arriving was inconsistent. They made up for it in person when we checked in.

Positive: We enjoyed the swimming pool and the quiet location. The staff were helpfull and accomodating.

Negative: Hot water and Electricity problems. We had an early 6am start to go into the park, had to go without breakfast.

Positive: The rooms are spacious and clean, with good options should you be travelling with family. The lodge boasts a beautiful big pool and tranquil surroundings. It is very close to Mikumi national park and the staff are friendly and very accommodating.

Negative: As we were travelling for work it would have been nice to have WiFi. However we knew this would not be the case and made use of our own hotspot. However if you are there for leisure then the escape from WiFi may be a welcome change.

Negative: no kettle or coffee cups to make coffee in the room. no BBQ facilities as was advertised. we had to eat in the restaurant and would have liked to self cater and have a BBQ. the tiles on the patio were loose and the shower had no hot water in one room. extra blankets were needed.

Negative: Sheets didn't look super clean, no WiFi anywhere (this was said to be fair), very expensive food for the area (USD15 for dinner and USD10 for lunch pp!), and so many power cuts I also sat on the bunk bed and it snapped!

Positive: Tausi's little paradise is the perfect location to visit Mikumi National park or other destinations in the region. Tausi herself is a real treasure. So helpful, knows everyone and helps you with organizing everything you want. She also helped us a lot to arrange the rest of our trip. Voyage Village is little bungalows in really calm grounds basically in the bush, where sometimes you can spot wild animals (e.g. baboons, zebra). I could imagine the place being perfect for honeymoon too. A big plus also is the food. They cook everything freshly, and customize everything according to your wishes (for example vegetarian / vegan). Also it's not only rice and beans but an amazing variety of fresh food. Moreover the staff is really nice and friendly. Would definitely go there again without thinking twice!!

Negative: Like everywhere in the region, sometimes there are insects around, and sometimes there is no electricity.

Positive: Very friendly and hospitable host. She helped us a lot with arranging a safari through Mikumi National Park. Food was fine, helpfull staff and comfortable room.
